Ray lewis is just something else dude, it's amazing
Beast. probably would've made a great Navy Seal.

808bboarder sold their own people
He’s gotta be able to swim, so there’s that.

American Patriot permanent hair line
The stories of pain in football are similar to war. Not as life threatening. My high school head coach in the early 70s was an army ranger. He was always saying football is war without guns and knives etc. We practiced like boot camp.
This makes me think about when players would talk about Marshawn Lynch getting hit and laughing like the joker at the bottom of the pile cause he enjoyed the pain
jaws102585 did he actually laugh in the pile? god damn
He did, if you go watch his top 100 vid you can hear him laughing at the bottom of a pile. Lynch was a monster when he ran.
Crusher103 what is the video called?
@@altoniojenkins6962 its 1 of Marshawns top 100 countdown vids. Not sure which 1.
lol that is Leonard Fournettes thing too
Talk about the pain when he pulls off that Flex Seal from his hairline
222222e flex seal rotflmmfao
222222e Ctfu
😂😂😂
Now that's a lot of damage
I don't think I have laughed that hard at a comment
Nothing will ever top Ronnie Lott cutting off part of a finger to go back in
Curtis Tessier tearing your triceps or hamstring and playing still tops that, a finger is minor and as long as your not a wide receiver you can play without a finger
He didn't lose a whole finger the tip of his finger fell off. He didn't even realize it was off until he found it in his glove.
Curtis Tessier it was great dedication to his team but was also rlly dumb when you think about how you will live the rest of his life without the tip of his finger
You can repair a muscle but not a missing finger.
jack youngblood broke his fibula and played the rest of the game
hmm...He runs and hits people, the other has to throw a precision pass. Not even a close argument of "pain tolerance".
Wait r u on the quarterbacks side or rays side lmao I cant tell
Ray Lewis was my introduction to the NFL when I was a kid. His attitude still inspires me, even after retirement.
Honestly i love hearing Ray talk about football, truly one of the best linebackers ever.
In hockey you play through everything. Guy once was clinically dead, revived on bench and in the ambulance he woke up and asked to go back in
KerryPark Islanders2673 because hockey players are weirdos
Terrie Cruise 🤣
Hockey player are phycos deff toughest ppl in sports expect ufc Nd boxing
@@truthmatters758 more than Football?? Nah
There's a level of precision at QB that isn't at any other position on the field. A fraction of an inch tackling someone means nothing. A fraction of an inch throwing the football will make it sail off the field.
True, but you've got to figure out a way to make the rest of your body perform so that you still get that fraction of an inch precision from a slightly different motion, etcetera.
Or maybe even realize that there's only a rookie later round pick backing you up, so even should you not have the accuracy to throw a laser deep down field recognize that you limited to only 25 yards or so is still better.
Joe Montana practiced on a field that was half grass and half turf. His practice plays would start at the 20 yard line and the players wouldn't run onto the other surface of the field, so his throws were never very long. You know his name though, even though he never threw the long ball.
Especially with an i jury to a throwing shoulder or throwing arm injuries, when youre wizzing balls around 30 times a game that quickly that is painful. It could make you hesitate or not put as much under it, its much different.
thanksfernuthin there's more to football then the quarterback. QBs are protected wusses most of the time.
when was the last time you tackled someone without a triceps?
0:25 "I tore my hamstring from the bone"
Colin: "In a game?..."
Ray "...Yeah...playing Chicago"
Rocco DiMeo I don't get it
Rocco DiMeo what
Eugene wikipedia it
Couldn't find it?
"No, in the shower....."
Ray Ray's an animal and we loved every minute he was in Baltimore !
Congrats on your
HALL OF FAME induction this week Ray !
Nobody deserves it more...
This man has war stories.
Need to hear more
What a warrior
did ray lewis paint his hair on?
It's what the barbers do now a days. It's quite common. LeBron does it too.
it's the Carlos bozzer look but honestly love ray best MLB ever
.
lol this is always a top comment on videos he's on
m
So much respect for ray lewis....
man it’s so annoying how high up the interviewer’s desk is
I would hate that
H Y I know. Ruined my whole week when I saw it
Everytime I hear "I tore/ripped" something my stomach goes heavy lol. Gives me painful memories
yes. and yes.
Legend has it that ray performed his own surgery
🤣🤣🤣
Ray Lewis: professional hardass
Garrett Bonneville 🤣
LEWIS #52 the best 👌 hall of famer for sure1
K. Gamez Agreed. 1st ballot. I'm a Broncos fan, but Ray Lewis is my favorite MLB.
And a good killer
clubsamwitch guy haha funny guy
The guy is legit crazy
Walter White I call you ignorant of the facts
Maad afer I respect Ray Lewis’ toughness, but this man is beyond “crazy” he’s plain stupid!
Speaking of GOOD pain, the best pain that I remember in football was just the first hit in the cold weather. Absolute stiffened everything up but made you feel really hot at the same time so you was good for the rest of practice or game. but that first hit was just rough but great
I always feel faint like I'm going to pass out , the actual pain is the easy part to deal with , but I really have no clue how someone can still play even 1 down with no hamstring , that has to be pure adrenaline or something
WARRIOR!
my football coach would ask are you hurt or injured
Ray Lewis is by far. BY FAR...... THE HARDEST, MOST TALENTED LINE BACKER TO EVER LACE UP A PAIR OF CLETES. I live in Columbus Ohio and Eddie George sits on a high love life here. But the truth is, #52 put an early retirement on Eddie George. Ray beat the DOGSHIT out of him where Eddie Was never tested like that. Mentally & most of all physically.
I love Ray so smart and humble
Yes to the injury Question
Defense is different. With no tricep he could still put his body where it needed to be. If you can’t throw (and hard) you can’t play qb. A 55 MPH throw is a completion. 53 MPH is a pick 6
What if you are hurt but your vulnerable to an injury, is it worth sitting out a game to prevent a possible multi game injury? Or do you take your chances?
"you heard it?" I heard my ankle pop when I landed on the side of my foot...
This is the definition of a tough man
1:12 that soldier field Type energy
Ray Lewis is a whole different breed
Bro broken collarbone is so painful man chill on jimmy
Where he play college ball?
Da U!!!!!!!
Numrowuno The*
Excellent interview!!
Tough man 🙏👌
Have Ray Lewis back and ask him how dirty was the Pittsburgh Steelers defense compared to the professionalism of the Baltimore Ravens defense. Would love to hear a conversation about that topic. Pittsburgh seems like they hit you even more once you down on the ground. Ravens were done with the you once you were down
Does this man buy his hair from the paint isle
Nobody who hasn’t played knows the pain football players go there week to week in the NFL and in higher levels of college football.
I didn't realize this was from 2016 and was so confused why they were talking about Jimmy on the Pats
That happened to me too
Is it possible to learn this power?
it is just not if you are past 35!
Ray Lewis is probably the only nfl player who can play through pain like hockey players
I tore my ACL but told my self it was a torn meniscus and Adrian Peterson just needed a week with a meniscus sprain. I wrapped it and got a good knee brace and went to work 4 days later cause it was the weekend. I thought about Ray Lewis saying pain is only temporary. That was stupid!
RAY LEWIS ROCKS ON THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD !!!!
As a giants fan losing the sb in 01 to this man, almost single handedly, while he was facing accessory charges, I hated this man. But he seems to be a decent dude, wish I knew the truth about that indictment, it all got swept under the rug.
love ray lewis
His hairline hurtin more than any injury in his career
what does that have to do with anything?
Blade Stokes Just looking at your profile picture, yours ain't too good either😂😂
ROFLMAO!!!! 👍👍
Blade Stokes and his sprayed on hair 🤣🤣🤣
BOI yours is offset and more crooked then his
Ray Ray is the last of the dying breed a true throwback to the early days, yes a few guys still have that warriors mentality but nothing close to Ray
Funny thing is when you hurt yourself the feeling of pain is a neuron signal within you synapse, yes you can train yourself to block it out.
Tore my ACL in 2001 and the pop was absolutely horrible and people on the bleachers heard it..i seriously thought i broke my knee and leg
Remember when emmitt smith played against the giants with a separated shoulder?
Bro wtf is the deathstar desk hahahaha Colin I think you're compensating
Is his hair painted on?
No
Killing a guy.. probably tough.. very painful, smh.
He’s a legend.
Ray Lewis and me did the same thing
I was watching him play with one arm during that game.
Imagine Ray on a medieval battlefield
That's exactly what injury i have now
Linebackers are different.
Ray Lewis is different for a linebacker.
Him L.T. and Derrick Brooks..my top 3 but lambert and butkis might want to get in
Qbs are different bc they have to throw the ball in tight spaces, make accurate throws, that pain could affect that. He just hit people, like you just run at someone and bam
Android602715 yeah don't even compare. QBs are protected pansies. Defense is where it's at. I like how you try to diminish what defensive players do to glorify precious QBs.
@3:23 This is what made him great. This is what football is really about, it's modern day gladiators going at it. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise lol. The sport is changing and that attitude is very scarce now (probably for the better because of peoples health) but that's the truth of what American football boils down to... "I will hurt you in order to win"
His hair look like it drawn on
“Look, it’s just pain. Just Figure it out!”
Bottom line: It ain't worth it. He's laughing now but he will pay for all of that eventually.
Contract the league by four teams and add 11 roster spots so players can play well rested and less injured.
I heard my acl tear, loudest noise I've ever heard
HaZy gooShoe heard my Achilles tear in early April. I’m ok now but damn if it wasn’t a shotgun going off. Everyone heard it.
Ray ray be playing
Beast mode
Lol I miss Thomas Jones on the Bears
0:14 answer to the most pain? shee mahnee guhiii bee nawt saiyn: "I'm goin tuh disney oaayn!"
Hamstring injury no joke, it is painful, sounds like a board cracking
Ray lewis and lynn swann i could hear talk for hours
If I were a NFL player I’d legit cry after every injury, even pulling a hammy😂
And that’s exactly why u ain’t in the nfl
Not gonna cut it, son.
I'm all for toughness, but that's excessive, that's destroying the body
Stafford played like that
Sad to think this dude killed someone smh.
Troyzswagger he wasn’t the trigger man but was involved in it somehow
when his barber gave him the mirror
I don’t care what NFL Presidents say ....... this really has to end its cruelty
When you have a career as long as he had.... I'm sure there isn't too many things that hasn't been broke ,torn, banged or bruised
The only reason I didn't like Ray Lewis was cause I'm a lifelong Steelers fan. Now that he's gone. I can like him.😇
Yeah a lot of times you hurt your team by playing badly injured. Just look at RG3
Did it involve getting away with shooting someone else?
still doesnt hurt as bad as getting stabbed
Jre needs to get this dude on his podcast
Ray got that Shawty Lo haircut
Two words: F*CK YEAH!!!
Dudes a boss
Ray Lewis's head actually looks like a football
Did he call quarterbacks soft
I'm surprised that the top comment isn't a "Ray Lewis killed a guy" joke
I would never want him to tackle me
