An 83 is like top 15 at internationals, it's an extremely good score and spot on for this performance. Can't wait to see them improve and get even better
@@ThePepBoysAndGrimacethe singing was top notch but their presentation (now Performance and part of Music categories) isn't a flawless fit with the scoring system - also that MASSIVE add9 chord was incredible but judges do not appreciate moments like that
I don't know why many quartets always have leads singing in a baritone voice. Here, clearly, the lead is largely singing in the baritone range. I mean, wouldn't it be easier to switch their roles? That's just my opinion. It's noticeable that the baritone is singing the high parts that should belong to the lead, as is the case in the introduction when it ends with a B7/F# chord. The baritone sings the seventh when it's clear from the sheet music that it should be the lead's part. It would be better to switch roles and be done with it.
@@Conanchicken Hello friend, thank you for telling me, I had not noticed that small detail... As you see, I am Latin, I live in the South American country of Colombia, and I love barbershop, I love barbershop chords, so I use a translator that uses artificial intelligence and when I automatically copied the translation with quotes by default... it's just my humble opinion... greetings... Additional comment... the Harrington arrangement that the Ringmasters sing, there are parts of the baritone that are higher than those of the lead and logically Due to vocal capacity, the lead assumes them even if they are written for the baritone, however, there are no dislikes between tastes.

@@kleopatra540 eh it's a good score but it sounded way cleaner than a lot of top ten performances
And their acceptance performance was even better

@carloszambrano1217 - why is this paragraph in quotation? Are you quoting someone else? If so, who?
