Great review, as usual! I'm rocking a black Defender Pro on my S20 Ultra and it's great! Aside from giving great protection, the rubbery grip stops me from dropping my phone to begin with. That blue one sure is nice!
The Lifeproof case is A. Impossible to get on without scratching your phone and B. You can't get it off with out breaking the case or the phone. I took mine back for these very reasons. Lifeproof seems to just make cases without testing them. Like the one I had for my LG G5, it had grooves in it that damaged the phone.

Ringke fusion x matte and clear ... spigen liquid crystal.. and the otter box range.. and after researching and researching and watching videos again and again I think I’m going to go with the otterbox symmetry.. I would’ve gone for the life proof but your comment caused me concern about the camera but not being thick enough aswell as the comments section is saying that it’s a scratch magnet.. so otterbox symmetry for me 👍🏽
Which of the cases that you've done reviews on (this one, the SupCase, Spigen and UAG) do you feel is most durable? Which is most raised on the sides of the screen? I had the S10+ for three weeks and the case (Otterbox Symmetry Series) was not raised enough on the sides and hit the screen on the curved edge just right and broke the screen :(
The symmetry is really overpriced and isn't that protective to be honest . Virtually no lip protection on the s10 line and I have the symmetry and def pro on the s20 ultra and the symmetry provides zero protection for the huge camera hump on back.
I've only had the phone for half a day but I quickly realized I'm going to need some type of pop off cover for the camera from keeping my fingerprints off it and protecting the glass. I hope case companies make some quickly.

Are they going to make a defender pop socket like they have with other models in your opinion? And if not does pop socket work with the normal defender case does it stick and hold well

I know you say "it doesn't add that much to it if you really think about it", but I run landscape crews, it's very dusty and i often have to use a thin lock pick to clean tiny grass clippings out of the charging port because my unicorn beetle flap doesn't stay closed. Thanks.
I always get the Symmetry it's the thinnest and does a great job. Unless you really need the belt clip in which case go for the defender. Just it really actually does add a bit of bulk. Makes it a bit much for my pocket
I still love the UAG monarch I've dropped my phone so many times and nothing has happened yesterday I dropped my phone front faced and it made a huge smack but nothing happened to it
The life proof case buttons need improvement because after awhile of having it the power button would work anymore with the case on, it wouldn't line up.
I have the defender one for my s20 ultra. I wish they made a pop socket for the defender case. That is the only thing I wish Outterbox would make a case with a kickstand or something.
K B the defender has a grippy exterior allowing you to hold it well and it won’t slide from tabletops. The commuter is like a wet bar of soap, slippery

I'm currently using the otterbox defender case. a popsocket does not stick to the rubber outside and I would like to have a thinner case instead.
It should because the back is polycarbonate. The adhesive will stick to that. It doesn't stick to TPU though, which is that soft, rubbery material. As for the sizes of the cases, I can't help you there. Sorry.
I always upgrade my phone as i find some interesting new technologies. I had the S8 of cors as it released, the S10, and now the S20 ultra, really I got disappointed following Samsung, the satisfaction isn't as i expected, the battery isn't for whole day, the device get heated while charging or apps, and using the 120 refresh rate drains the battery. I didn't know the difference between snapdragon & Exynos, and in my region i get Exynos processor, thats so bad Samsung, it's like cheating... The last Samsung device i will be using is this S20, I should have waited for some more and go for the Huawei P40, very disappointing!
I am not a fan of the color, but I see lots of people with the cases. If you think about it. I know lots of friends who drop their phones all the time and crack screens too. This is great for that protection
People who want to protect there phones?? I always do with the symmetry cases because they are very slim/ not bulky but do an excellent job of protecting my phone. I drop my phone so many times I lost count yet it remains undamaged. So literally almost every single person that *actually wants to protect* their phone will have an otter box.
One thing about the case cuz I have the symmetry. Wireless Power Share won't work with the case on. Tried with my S10+ and same with my S20 Ultra for some reason the OtterBox Symmetry doesn't work right with power share

I would go with the Commuter which seems the best compromise between aesthetics, protection and bulk

Go with supcase ub pro. Better material, lasts longer, looks better, better protection, and costs about 20$

I got the S20 and the otterbox defender but I need a good screen protector. Any recommendations for glass and film screen protectors?
Coming from S9plus. I did use otterbox defender. I prefer TPU screen protector over glass because of the snug fit.

Otterbox are great cases. The do a nice job protecting your phone. But I prefer the uag line. Much thinner

The belt case is also a stand I think you missed it on the pro series

Bought an Otterbox Strada case for my S20 Ultra direct from Otterbox and it failed within 4 weeks. Went way too sloppy to hold the phone anymore.

If you lock the clip in the open position and then have the phone facing out I did it all the time when I had the defender on my s8 and s9

Depends which symmetry. The clear one can be a bit slippery. The black and blue ones both have a decent grip
