Today's topic gives me the opportunity to mention again - how about Pete and Charles searching out the best non-alcoholic drinks on property? I bet there's some imaginative hidden concoctions the 'rest of us' would appreciate.
As a fellow nondrinker, that is a great idea.
As a non alcohol drinker, I love Jock Lindsey's at Disney Springs!! They have some fun drinks
I actually do try and take note of places that serve interesting non-alcoholic choices. I have a number of friends who don't drink and want them to be able to have that same fun feeling of trying to find a fun refreshing and unique beverage. Perhaps we will have to do that as a segment in the future!
Sadly, I find most of the non-alcoholic drinks to be super-sweet and not that imaginative.

La Cava reminds me of the Soup Nazi now. You wait in a long line. Get to the cashier, place your order, pay and get out. Sometimes I feel if I want to linger a second, you get the side eye and it will be like "No Tequlia for you".

Rose and Crown is a fun place to sit outside of in the evening to watch the drunks. Sometimes I am one of those drunks.

Drinking around the world, we always start in Canada and end in Mexico. Nothing good ever happens when you start with tequila, lol.

Good points about Dawa Bar. I’ve spent a lot of time in Africa and personally enjoy the music nearby, but what made my experience less enjoyable was an unfriendly bartender there.
I love craig's opinions personally because he's just a normal guy like 99% of the viewers. Keep your annoying comments to yourselves, no reason for negativity.

It makes me sad to hear about La Cava. The last time I was there was 2012 and it was BY FAR the best place to go. It wasn't too crowded then and the bartenders were absolutely amazing. They even took time to teach me about the different types of tequila and mezcal. It's where I learned tequila isn't just Cuervo. But I guess that's a big reason why it's so crowded now. Maybe it's nostalgia, but La Cava will always have a special place in my heart.
pinseeker0879 I would still give it a try next time you go. I went in April 2017 and it was incredible. Love these guys but sometimes I wonder if they are burnt out on certain places as locals.

4 of the 5 of these would end up on most others top 5. Love hearing the reasoning, and can agree with some. I love the crowds at Rose and Crown! Hob nobbing with your neighbor is half the fun

Craig, not everybody is a hard core alcohol lover. I'm sorry to say, I love "girlie, fruity' drinks. I don't really like to taste the alcohol and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. My favorite drink is a margarita. I have had tried many different kinds in different places. I usually don't buy frozen versions, but I do enjoy them at Disney because of the hot weather and my favorite type of drink to have when there is cold, slushie type drinks.

Out of the seemingly THOUSANDS of Disney World related channels, DIS Unplugged is head and shoulders above all others. No - it's not perfect... and that is what makes it the best. You all are just yourselves, not striving to act PC but still being considerate. But most of all real. Thanks for all your commentary and insight! I hope you hit 100K this month!
Dawa Bar is my fav! Sitting near the loud live music just enjoying atmosphere is amazing. It was the most transportive part of my trip. Saying that, I learned the cocktails are weak just get a beer and enjoy.
You need to try the wines & sangria at Spice Road Table. There IS life beyond beer.
Dawa bar is great for the live music but it is too crazy with people coming in and out for sure.

I agree La Cava del Tequila is not a great LOUNGE, but it’s a MUST stop for me! I always get my avocado margarita there and leave right away and drink it while I continue on my way around the world lol
I’ve only just gotten started watching, but Craig’s description of the drinks at Spice Road Table just bumped up its appeal for me! I pretty much only drink mixed drinks that are too sweet for others because I HATE the taste of alcohol, and that’s the only way to mask it for me. (The presence of the alcohol cuts the sweetness for me, and besides I enjoy super sweet desserts too.)
FlybyStardancer Spice Road Table is my favorite bar. It is cleaner than most bars, the bartenders are very friendly & very generous. If you like wine, I recommend Blanc de Blanc- a white wine with hazelnut notes from Lebanon.

I love Dawa. The problem I have with is that they make a line now, so it's not a traditional bar unless it's slow. I love the music and entertainment nearby there!

This was a great episode and provided a lot of good insight. You guys have really good camaraderie as a group and seem like you're having a great time - which is great and makes listening to these even more enjoyable.
I was contemplating going to the Tune-In lounge on my next DW trip, but will probably not bother now.
I enjoy Rose & Crown when there's a downpour outside in summer and it's super busy and loud and just a lively party inside! It's got good atmosphere and really fun. Definitely not a relaxing or quiet place to drink, though.
That's too bad about La Cava going downhill in quality. I loved it there when it first opened. I had a quick drink there last year before a dinner at San Angel Inn, but didn't notice it being bad. However, it was packed and just trying to order a drink without even sitting was a major pain in the arse. And the park and rest of the pavilion were not even busy that night! And yep, the prices are a little steep now for what you get.
And to any listeners getting mad at the friendly ribbing going on during the podcasts - that's what good friends or buddies do! Sheesh! Chill people. lol

I'm staying at Boardwalk in December....didn't realize Rose & Crown was THE place to go to drink. With Steve on this one...going to relive the good ole college days. Can't wait to walk (stumble) back to the hotel room!

Dawa Bar was a great place to get a drink (or two) to bring back to my boyfriend while we stood in line for almost 2 hours waiting and hoping for Flights of Passage to open due to technical issues. It never did.

The cider and black at rose and crown is my favorite drink on property. I also really like Dawa bar at animal kingdom. I’ve been meaning to check out tune in lounge, but I really like baseline tap house.
No one who is of drinking age is going to be fooled by Bud Light being listed as an Import beer.

Spot on regarding Spice Road Bar. Walking in I always felt like “Am I supposed to be in here without a reservation or something?” Then you mentioned no tables and yes, that’s it! This is a missed opportunity and needs a re-do for sure.

Rose and Crown has been our favorite for years... Many, many good times there and a few I can't remember. One of my favorite places in all the world, we love it that much...

I love a few pints of wife beater lol. And yes Ryno our pubs do get that packed. You should have experienced them during the world cup, total carnage
The bar they had at Grand Floridian was the absolute worst until they changed it to Enchanted Rose. It was a dinky sports bar with only five seats and was anything but a relaxing atmosphere.
I love Ryno hosting the show. He seems like he could be a friend of mine which keeps me engaged and relating to the show. I also love Sean I’ve said that a million times but I wish Sean could be in everything!!
The Casablanca beer at the Morocco is one of the best I've ever had. I still recommend everyone stopping to try it, as it's the only place in the USA that you can get it.
Carl at the Rose and Crown Pub is a legend. That being said, the one beer I want to try is the Grapefruit beer in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT.
"I did not experience a pub that was this insane" - ever been to Brazen Head in Dublin? We were there on a Friday so I guess that bumped up the crowds, but that place was asses to elbows. But I do agree a normal pub on a normal day isn't that intense.

Snakebite Black is really popular particularly among British college students (given we can drink at the same age that we start university), basically because it is so cheap to make at home or buy at the student union bar (At my uni bar it's $2.60, at the R&C it's $9.25!?).
I think it's so popular because there's this myth that mixing drinks of cider and beer/lager, gets you drunk quicker, which I don't believe at all.
I commented on the last video that tune in was my favorite but I assumed it would be on the worst list for this exact reason, that’s why when I’m there I usually just get there when it opens and it’s a little more quiet
I totally agree with the rose and crown, it’s totally how we drink here in England. Still blows my mind at how many places in Disney you can now buy alcohol I’m old school so I’m not used to it
The addition of alcohol to the parks is absolutely the biggest change to Disney in the last decade. After a 5 year hiatus from visiting, I returned in 2017 and was really taken aback by how many bars and drink stands there were in the parks selling alcohol. Alcohol has always been there (except at MK), but now it is much more visible than it ever used to be.
This is the second episode I have watched in the last two days where Craig chastises Rhyno for taking too long to talk. He does this kind of stuff a lot and it is very cringey to watch. He is so brusque with everyone on the show and it isn't endearing.
Fred Duram: that is a disgusting word to use. When you use language like that you negate your point. It shows a lack of respect for the presenters and the audience. Please try to be better

I don't go to La Cava for margaritas, I go for the Tequila, I like getting a flight and tasting different ones. Granted it is super hard to get in here. In general find the margaritas at the stands in Epcot to be cloyingly sweet.
I dont know if you all have covered this, but my husband and I will be taking our 2 year old to disney in January. What rides or things can we do with him?

Besides the Spice Road Table I love all the worst bars on this list. Every time I'm at Disney world I go to the Rose and Crown for the atmosphere and Bodington's on tap. The Rose and Crown used to have one of my favorite beers from Scotland called Tennents. Rose and Crown is one of the best places to sit outside, people watch and chill out and listen to the band play. I also enjoy watching my wife and my mother finish a Welsh Dragon while eating the best fries(chips) in the world from the Yorkshire fish company. The seating is awesome outside and you can use snack credit for chips only I believe. Dawa bar has some of the best drinks. I always enjoy the alcholic lost on safari, the delicious bloody mary's and the alcoholic version of pog juice(Ngumu Jungle Juice). For some reason the bartender Bob is always working at the Dawa bar. Dawa bar also has live music right there and seating all over that area and food. Tune in lounge theming is cool and just feels like a legit bar where you can cool down for a bit and get a real cocktail. The seating does suck here because its usually hot and everyone wants to be in the air conditioning. Finally the margaritas on the rocks, not blended are great from La Cava del Tequila. I always enjoy the San Angel Inn Margarita. You can also talk to the bartenders which will recommend tequilas to you, some of which you can't get in the U.S. and are imported some how. On my last trip I tried Mezcal for the first time. I was not a fan but still that is what is so cool about this place. You can try different tequilas and mezcals. I don't know alot of places that have the selection or people from Mexico like they do here.

This is so funny. The only 2 bars I've been in at WDW are on this list, the Rose and Crown and Tune In. I'm not a big drinker, so I don't really have an opinion. I had the drink at Rose and Crown because we ate there and we were in and out of Tune in to grab a drink during the parade.
I'm so saddened to hear about the downfall of the tequila bar in Mexico. Haven't been for a couple of years. Used to be my favorite drinking spot in WDW. Flight of tequila, margarita, and some guacamole used to be a thing of dreams.
Best Bloody Mary is at AK Dawa Bar- comes with a strip of bacon : ) I agree with many of your other points though- great show!

One of my rare downgrades of a video. Rose & Crown Pub is on a worst list because it's so popular?!?!?! Makes no sense.
I enjoy watching your podcasts. They are informative, and the back and forth is engaging. But for those of us that aren't locals who would go to the parks and have time to sit and chat over a bar, i.e., if you have a family, most of us aren't going to care about many of the concerns you raise. I will agree with you about La Cava in Mexico: we wanted to go there but the line was stupidly long.
I disagree with you. I picked the bars for this list based on the fact that they don't really kinder an experience with the people you are traveling with. All of my family is from out of state and don't get to come here often. When they do I try to make every experience just that, an experience. I think the bars chosen on this list don't really offer more then just the typical bar experience is what I was trying to say.
Ryan Clavin thanks Ryno. I enjoy you as a host. An example: when we had reservations at Tusker House (best non-princess character experience, hands-down btw), we had to wait, so we got drinks at the Dawa Bar and listened to the music and watched the dancing. It was perfect for that, ie, mommy and daddy wanted a drink. I agree with you that we would not think of coming here for any other reason. And I couldn’t imagine it during a summer afternoon shower. So I agree with you why it’s on this list. But I appreciated having it there while we waited for our reservation.

I sadly have to agree about the Rose & Crown, I loved getting a bull dog and magical star cocktail and snagging a table ... but now they don’t even have bull dogs and it’s always insane in there. Ha! Craig nailed it though.

You should try a Wetherspoons on a Friday night guys, makes The Rose And Crown seem pretty authentic! (Apart from the prices!)
Not everyone turns left and starts in Mexico. We have always gone the other way! Starting in Mexico seems backwards to me!
Wife Beater... haha... spot on Craig with your Brit pub experience/nicknames. Pubs are for boozing & socialising, mainly getting boozy, so yeah, spot on Craig. Saturday night in a Brit pub can be rowdy'n'noisy!

I actually like a number of these places - though do agree often overpriced. I do think a lot would qualify as "overrated" or, like Ryno said "the word is out" about them. I think for someone who is lucky to get there once a year, going to something like La Cava is part of our trip - but if I was local I am sure I wouldn't go there very often
It sounds like all of the venues you mention are much TOO small for the crowds that are now coming to the parks. If Disney wants to make more money from it’s customers make better venues. The 50’s should have a Study martini-piano lounge, Animal Kingdom needs a Tiki Bar and the Tequila bar should be closed and expanded outdoors near the Mexico pavilion. All of the drinking venues are so much better at Disney Springs. They need to take a page from the Springs. 😉

Absolutely. It was my home bar 4 nights a week and I was one of Pat's chosen who received a shirt on my birthday. I still haven't hung up my diploma 9 years later, but I wear my shirt every winter.
