Hey Dave .. FYI .. The owner of The Brooklyn Square ( Peter Pizza) use to work in Ciccio's . Peter then opened his own place in B'klyn which he named " Peter Pizza" on Stillwell Ave. When you went to The Brooklyn Square , the round pizza had sesame seeds on it. You raved about The Bklyn Squares Sicilian. Well Ciccio serves the same square with exactly the same taste. Yes, tastier than L& B Spumoni Gardens.
I used to go to elementary school down the block. Im 45 now i used to go there and get the school special 2 slices and a small fountain soda for 2 dollars. And they used to put the semolina seeds in the crust on the regular pies back then.

I grew up across the street from ciccios and picked up a pie for my family every week. Everyone in the restaurant is very nice and there used to be a large group of old italian guys including the sunbather who would heckle passing women on the street and play cards. It was always very funny
Cicci was the name of a horse my sisters and i used to get a ride from in front of my aunt's macelleria (butcher shop) in Italy way back in the 70's. Another uncle had a butcher shop about 150 down the street opposite side from my aunt
