This channel deserves so much more attention than it gets. Highly underrated channel. Love the content man! Just getting back into the hobby and bought my 10.3 Base Camp last week!
Thanks for another great video. This makes me want to retire early, pack the crawlers in the car and roadtrip out your way. Give the pooch a pet and keep doing what you're doing.
Owls are freakin' awesome, especially the big ones. The Basecamp is a cool truck, performs well stock, and the electronics package is pretty decent too. Have a great weekend, Friday afternoon here already... Cheers mate 👍
Really enjoy the car week videos. I told my better half we have to go to Utah so we can crawl. Love the back drops if you will. And the rocks look fun too lol. Really looking forward to see what else you do with the Base Camp.
When you say this area like where are you cause that is very beautiful. The rock formation and everything and I would love to go crawling there if it’s not private property.
Good morning LOGON from England buddy. I'm REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to seeing what your going to do to this truck. I REALLY want(HOPE) They bring out a builders kit. Take care Buddy Hope you have a great weekend SIR 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼🤩👍🏼🤙🏼
Wonderful video as always Logan, your doing a amazing job. Lovin the content and I was really interested in the Axial base camp. Oh and a owl. Brilliant. John
I could watch car week every week! just seeing the different trucks is cool but just getting back into the casual trail hike crawls is awesome. the 10 gate comp that you held was super sweet to but I did miss this I have picked up a lot of technical tips from these videos to put into comps.
Enjoyed car week, great to see all your different rigs! Some crazy lines and always some great scenery 👍 Any idea when we might see some 1:1 crawlers again? Love that side of your channel as well!
I have hawks Eagles & huge Vultures. I was just thinking what if one came down grab the RC & took off! I see them come out of nowhere to check out my RC. It’s funny how Sid was fully aware of the Owl. Now you have a name for that trail or area Owl canyon 🦉Hopefully it’s not thinking about pecking eyes out🤣😵
Hi Logan, you're doing a good job of selling me the Rock Pirates RC stuff... I'm just hoping I can get it in the UK at some point! Maybe someone like Gareth Curtis RC will pick them up (he already distributes Treal and Punks Custom stuff here). I've got my fingers crossed! Great video, I'm enjoying car week. And owl day... 😁
Thanks for putting out all of your videos. I love watching them. Any chance you can do a comparison video with the Basecamp & the Gladiator? I want to get one of the two and I’m not sure which one to go with. A comparison video would be helpful. I know the Gladiator has the dig function, and the Basecamp doesn’t, but I’m not sure if that’s a concern for me. I already have a 4ws Capra that I can use the dig with, just looking for a fun trail truck. The money saved buying a Basecamp versus the Gladiator could be a lot more upgrades right off the bat. Thanks, keep up the great work.
How did you keep the stock mounting holes in the back with the rock pirates towers? Their vid you had to drill new holes. I just got a basecamp today that I'm looking to start on
Axial Base Camp or Vanquish Phoenix? I lean toward performance over “scale” appearance. Love Car Week and seeing the different rigs and sweet terrain. 👍🏼
I really hope you see this, or someone else answers this question. I'm new to the rc crawling thing and I want to build one to fit what I want it to do in my area. I need to find a set of portal axles for it. I was looking for a kit like they have for the straight axle but I can not find one anywhere. Do they sell them in a kit? I looked on facebook for some and got nothing. At this point I may have to settle for straight axles and just live with it. I dont want to buy a RTR just to get the axles. That is a big waste of money for me.
Axial doesn’t sell a portal kit, vanquish products sells a F10 portal axle kit individually with plastic housing and all internals that are very similar to the axial portals.
@@westdesertwheeler Well that makes things a bit more expensive and annoying. I guess I'm going straight axles or just buy the basecamp as a platform to build off of. Thank you for the info sir!
Hey Logan Im interested to see what the pirates wagon is going to be. Did i miss a giveaway entry because if i did i would love to enter! Have a good one buddy!
No, this is not in sand hollow. Sounds like I should check out the end of smash bros though, I know a rough area of where it is but haven’t been on the trail
@@westdesertwheeler Ah, gotcha. It looks similar to the end of that trail. Especially with that owl. There was one living for while. I’ll be out there in October. 🤘
Basecamp definitely seems capable with simple mods, I’m into the micros a lot and thinking of getting this for my starter 1/10. It will slowly become a LCG cheater
Axial is good. Plenty of after market parts and fast horizon service. Horizon warrantied my planes and helicopters and sloppy glued off set 1/10 rc rims and tires. I am a dedicated horizon cutomer for life. My hobby store can always get me parts from horizon. I have a friend that bought a cheap red cat truck. He always has problems getting parts from the 2 big hobby stores near chicago.
You will enjoy the crawler. At first i wasnt sure due to my addiction of speed and running on clay tracks. Best purchase should had done it 9 years ago when axial introduced us to slow moving machines. I like all my axials. They all drive different. The trx4 is an onroad sport truck or a crawler per the trans shift and locking and unlocking diffs. I try to obtain my machines used for half price or less. I took my time and got 3 without scratches and abuse. Races will get boared and sell cheap. I carry my trucks in my pickup. Always ready to crawl. I have abused my trx4 daily for 1.5 years and very few broken parts. Excellent part support by after market and axial and traxxas. Dont buy redcat. Hard to get parts at hobby store. I tend to avoid associated after seeing all the discontinued models on their web site. I was big into associated during my racing years. Horizon and traxxas respond with very fast delievery to my lhs for all my broken parts. Welcome to the hobby. Dont delay . I lost out on many good years of rock crawling.
Trx4 also has a easy setting on esc for 0 50 100 percent drag brake. This week traxxas introduced the trx4 high trail for a good price. The lift kit is worth 140 plus 2.2 wheels and tires.

That owl was awesome! Loved seeing that. Great video and car week was fun!
Love car week 👍
This is great and the owl was cool to see. I want a Basecamp now.
I think 🤔 it's good luck to see an owl 🦉. It was looking at your truck . Big blue rodent. Squeeky rodent. For an owl. Great video . Awsome. .

*Thanks for the nice car and the video! 👍👍🚙🚙😎😁*
Glad to see the Base Camp running. Hit some nice lines.
I found a perfect you tube channel, matts off road recovery. You take rc to the next level by crawling in extreme conditions. Thank you.
Just bought this today can't wait to see the journeys it will take me my first axial too
Can't wait see you tomorrow.
So cool to see your outstanding videos. Im from the flat lands of il. No shortage of urban development and asphalt.
Great video! I just ordered my first Axial scx10 basecamp and look forward to your build on this rig!

Thanks Logan, Car Week was full of good content. I’d call it a win. 🤙🏼🏁

Sweet owl, sweet pup!! I prefer G8 for Colorado as well. That truck looks very capable RTR. Thanks for sharing, great video as always😁✌
Nice crawl area! I love my Basecamp👌😎
Awesome bro, love car week!
Just bought one of these so I'd be keen for more videos on the basecamps
Absolutely love car week.
Really like the series!

I try to mix it up! Comps, trails, real cars. I know the same thing gets old. Thanks for watching
Its all good
Car Week has been great! All of your videos are awesome. I'm amazed you don't have 10x as many subs.
Awesome videos man loved car week!!!!
Hey mate a couple questions about your wheel setup. Did the vanquish rims come with hubs? Also what are your wheel/tire measurements?
Enjoyed car week, great to see all your different rigs! Some crazy lines and always some great scenery 👍 Any idea when we might see some 1:1 crawlers again? Love that side of your channel as well!
Next week! The big buggies are back!!!
@@westdesertwheeler Good to hear 👍
Sick lines but enjoyed the little bot of rain slicking things up
Me too! Always a fun challenge
Great video buddy. I've really enjoyed car week. Keep up the great work.
Think I might get one of these for my virgin proline xj body
Amazing work. Great video!
Can’t wait prob that awesome interceptor chassis he showed us at axial fest! Omg what ide do get chance win a rock pirate rig! 💗❤️❤️❤️🤘🏻💯😎🤩😆
Oooo that'd be sweet!!!!

I can’t wait to get out to Moab to try out my crawler.
Would recommend for me to get the scx10.2 kit or wait and see if they come out with a basecamp kit?

What happened to the Base Camp? Cool videos, good looking truck. You never featured it again? Sad day!

Every Scx10.3 has that panhard mount issue. Huge miss… do you know if those shock towers work with stock Gladiator inner fenders bij any chance?
Requires cutting or removal of inner fenders but they fit the chassis
Hoping for a raw builders kit? It’s good to build it instead of rebuilding it. Start out with what you need and build it to your own specifications.
Great videos as always man.
where can i find the link for the upgraded higher end links?
I’d be interested to try out the Jelley donuts, but have had no luck googling them.

Yeah that Hoot Owl can definitely cause a lot of trouble for you

You haven’t missed anything stay tuned tomorrow!!!
Awsome
Try the gen 7 sport
I really don't want to like this truck...
But you're making its case.
Hello Sydney
Is that at the end of super smash bros?
No, this is not in sand hollow. Sounds like I should check out the end of smash bros though, I know a rough area of where it is but haven’t been on the trail

Scx10ii and Element Ectos are very capable platforms out of the box and have many conversion kits to lcg.

The axial crawlers have locked diffs. It drives very slow.
