I definitely agree with the whole memorizing your stock (especially CXs) the amount of times I've stuck 4-5dmg on people expecting to have 2 in 5-7 that only had one or none is a lot more than it should be lol Looking forward to potentially seeing y'all later in Texas!
41:51 The primary off-finisher is the toast event honestly. Burn 1, enables probably another burn 1 from the red Power, and then you basically choose how big you're swinging in each lane. And most of the time the opp was already lv3 anyway (which I attribute to Himeno combo + luck) 42:58 Honestly kinda true, more often than not I just had it, I don't remember exactly how. 1:00:34 I will say, I played against that Revue player during swiss, and I was having a crazy good game, swimming in mostly clean stock, but there was one point where I was just sweating because I knew I knew that Revue Starlight has stockswap And I'd milled too much to not refresh on my turn, and I was crashing every lane I've never been so happy to triple trigger after refresh (in retrospect I could have not comboed and only attacked once I guess; I don't remember the exact situation)
I play the ichika punch vs the ituki one cause you don't need name ituski name in the deck. And it's easier to get hand vs stock in the deck stock can be come hand esaly but hand can't become stock. 1 stock can = 1-2 cards vs 2 hand = 1 stock. And I play a midgame control style of healing down and canceling with the lefa punch to keep putting my opp to high 3. So I use my stock more aggressively for other things.
Makes sense. I definitely like aggressive midgames from decks that only need 6 stock for their endgame. I just like the Itsuki costs better for how I approach the game :) You had great success so there's definitely more than one way. -Steven
When Dio works it feels great but i feel like i can never get double off consistently. Pants choice never feels like it has enough hand. 8 choice feels a little better but honestly still feels pretty mid. But its max rarity now so ill figure it out copium
No, it was the HOL Anya iirc. Technically the junna would've plussed, but also I could just kill Anya with a level 1 card so it's not like it super matters
23:01 Are there actually that many on-cancel finishers (or even restanders, that also don't like neg soul)? I'm honestly not really thinking of anything besides Kana and I guess Ichika (ok technically Shion has an on-cancel component, but even if you could target that it probably wouldn't make much difference)
I guess I should clarify: there's gonna be a lot more soon (Asuna, Shana, Nikke) plus there's also Loid. I'm also permanently traumatized by the JP yellow finisher from Project Sekai. -Steven
Ah right, Asuna Shana & Loid only care about the burns cancelling though, so neg soul doesn't affect that And I don't think Nikke cares too much about neg 2 soul at least, though I suppose it can still save you if it gets the attack below lethal and you eat it
