what is your opinion? 1. Giving IV insulin bolus may increase risk of cerebral edema and exacerbate hypokalemia. 2. Does hypokalemia is due to sodium-potassium pump or because insulin has aldosterone-like effect which leads to increase potassium excretion? thank you
