As you found out, yes you can plug it into an amp. But you don't have to. There's a built in speaker. You just press the first button and a light comes on. The same knob controls the volume. The rest is effects, but you don't need to amp it up unless you want it really, really loud!. That's what the USB cable's for. To charge it.

Nice unboxing! Pretty good looking uke and it sounds good too. Something you could throw in your car and not worry about it getting damaged by heat and humidity. Those are fluorocarbon strings, I think your other uke uses Aquila nylon strings so they feel very different. I like UkeLogic fluorocarbon strings myself. You should check out some Flight ukes in the future. Eventually working your way up to the Hawaiian K brands like Kamaka, Koaloha, and Kanilea.
Im going to guess that they sent LOTS of these to youtubers, because I've had 3 now, and they're shit. The electrics on the "pro" model are the worst i've EVER seen.
I have the soprano and it's not a bad ukulele but it resonates strangely to my ear. Intonation is spot on which is important at it's price. Works as a car uke.
