The gen 4 has a spring assist right where the curly cord is supposed to go. You have to remove the spring assist and find the centre of the curly cord and stretch the crap out of it so it fits under the corners of the spring assist. If you have three hands it is easy to put back together. My issue is this is an expensive laser/ light comb and you end up with two snot balls of curly cord on each end of the spring assist. The cord really needs to be shoved in so the slide mechanism doesn't hit it. The risk is that the cord will pop out while firing and the next slide cycle will slice the cord in pieces. Crappy design and UTAS should have redesigned the light cord when they redesigned the gun. The cord needs to be flat with just a few curls at the very front so one can change the batteries. I note in the new kits batteries are NOT included so get them when you buy the light. Fleabay has them for less than $40 for 12 as opposed to retail at $10 each
dude, those were great instructions. l put it together in as I watched your video. My gun is newer than yours, all threeswitch holes were already drilled out witha triple rubber plug. I'll test mine at the range tommorow. ☺
This video is pretty usefull but there is a one thing that i wonder how do you charge the batteries in the flashlight? Do you always have to unscrew the gun? Or is there any easy way to do?
Great video....was nervous about doing the install myself.. but after watching your video..I'm no longer nervous.
Glad the video helped, thanks for watching.

Utas UTS 15 Light & Laser Install.
Thank you so much for making this video!
If you have the latest version of the UTS-15, drilling is no longer necessary. Holes are pre-drilled from the factory.
That is awesome!!! Great video!!
I'm wanting to buy a uts laser flashlight even broken
