@@Joe-bh4vz I rarely use bait casters but the ones I do have are left handed reel. I can’t stand reeling with my right hand. I never understood the bait caster guys casting right handed then switching hands to reel
You could switch the handle, really quickly, even while hooked up....

That’s a different ballgame. You are dealing with huge swings in tide. But basically, yes. Gear will be a bit different, longer cast in most conditions.
We are spoiled in the Gulf.

Why do you change the hooks to singles?
Singles are just easier to deal with. Not tearing up the fish as bad.
