We eat bibimbap for lunch and go shopping in Lalaport BARGAIN mall.
I also make vegetable salad for dinner.

Hello, Miss Che! You are so blessed to have Mama and Marika as your friends and also blessing to have a lot of friends. Lunch and shopping mall looked like you enjoy. Mama is very kind and generous with gift giving. Traffic here in my big city is terrible. People put on makeup while driving and always texting which is so dangerous. USA has strict traffic laws but DWI ( driving while intoxicated) has license suspension and jail sentence. I still drive but not long distances anymore. God Bless!

Im glad you let her purchase a few things for you. You didnt ask, so its nothing to feel funny about. She likes to treat you. Her daughter is very pretty. I like the dress she picked out. I absolutely love salads like you made. We eat alot of salad in my home during the summer months. No one is hungry for hot foods. I could eat veggies for lunch and dinner every single day. Your driving laws are like ours. Its a 25.00 ticket if you dont have your seatbelt on. You gets points off for things. Licenses are suspended or even taked away for certains driving offenses like drunk driving. Mama looks young! She is a blessed good friend to you. I've never heard of that store here in the States. It might have a different name here. The clothes would fit you, you'd just have to find the right size. The lunch looked delicious.

Very rare and special gift your friendship with Mama considering most Japanese shun real friendships with foreigners. Mama is a strong spirited kind women that you should cherish her forever. Driving laws are the same here in the US but the driving style is much more aggressive here in the US. Driving in Japan is more structured and very safe and polite. No so much here in the US these days. In the Philippines. Driving feels like every man for himself and traffic signs are just mere suggestions. In the Philippines I will drive in the province and on major toll roads. But driving in NCR or Angeles, No way, I dont need that kind of stress.

Hi Chie!! I love Bibimpap! I make it at home sometimes, very healthy huh! The price for it at the restuarant that you visited is so reasonable! Near my house, we have to pay over $16 for it. As for the seat belt laws.. finally Japan caught up!! When my kids were little, they did not require kids to wear seatbelts! We were always shocked and kids could ride in the passenger side in the front! So happy to hear that they changed, and good idea for a demerit system, etc., They need to do this in the US. So many crazy drivers nowadays on the freeways in the Bay Area. I have always felt that some people need to return to driving school, seriously!🤣

When you have lots of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers and paprika you can try to make gazpacho. A very traditional cold soup from Spain

I can speak Japanese but not so well😅 Japanese language is hard to learn, I can only read hiragana and katakana not kanji. In reading I use google translator☺️
