you know, I used to work in an automotive machine shop.one of my jobs was to disassemble engines. I don't remember ever having to push galley plugs out like that. this was the 80s but all of those blocks had threaded galleys in front and back
@@kosworkshop ok, I just did an AI check and I'm not crazy.in the 60s and 70s, they were screw in, I can't pin it down but I think the vortex blocks had the push in galleys. I know they had changed a few things on those blocks including the elimination of the fuel pump holes. the bosses are still there

I’ve always been told they are push in plugs from factory and that if you thread them it’s better for high volume oil pump usage.
