In my years of active Alcoholism I would walk over my son to get a drink nothing else mattered. Im 16 years sober now I have my self worth back and most importantly my sons respect for putting down the drink and facing my demons

This video really got to me I used to binge drink and it affected every aspect of my life . I had to face the consequences of my actions and get help for myself to build my relationship with my son. The addiction to Alcohol is like a demon sitting on my shoulder telling me im worthless and it's my friend . In my years of active Alcoholism I would walk over my son to get a drink nothing else mattered. Im 16 years sober now I have my self worth back and most importantly my sons respect for putting down the drink and facing my demons

We don’t know how far the school was but school ends from 3 to 3:30 in the USA and he got home at 4 so we can assume the school is 30-60 minutes away on foot
