An ex is an "ex" for a reason. Like it or not, some things just aren't built to last. Accept that reality and get on with living your life. The absolute stupidest thing any guy can do is beg, plead or otherwise try to guilt trip his ex back into a relationship. Accept the finality of it and learn/apply the applicable lessons. Above all...super important...never, ever hold a grudge. Your ex has every right to make her own decisions, *including* dumping you if she's so inclined. You may not like it, but you need to respect her decision. Be cool, be unflappable and be an adult about it. And don't even think about "getting her back." That's a guaranteed pathway to nothing more than frustration.

This happened to a girl I was first seeing. We built an amazing connection over tinder and talked for hours and hours. A week into knowing each other, I decided to tease her when she wasn’t feeling good and she snapped at me like a bitch. At that moment, I just simply walked away and blocked her. If it's been long enough, they usually use something like well wishes for your birthday or a holiday as their opening.
