amazing to see how much production has changed, I wonder on the staffing levels compare from 1950 to 2018 in that factory. 1950 seems very reliant on people, even the gentleman laying out the lengths of graphite as it is compressed into lead size. You can see the sheen of the graphite on the workers skin in the early stages of the production, I bet health and safety in 2018 would be all over the factory for the production practices at that time. Thanks for posting this glimpse into the past. Such history shouldn't be lost in storage.
