Good idea. Not commenting your price, but your comercial (this video) is little bit ineffective. 1st - you want the potetial custommers, to think (and see), the assembly and dissassembly is quick and easy. USE ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER (or better - utilize butterfly bolts, some rail system with safeties or quick-releases with safetys). That will shave off most of assembly and dissassembly work (and time). Custommers tend to buy the products saving them time and unnecessary work for the same price more, than the ones, wich dont. 2nd - your design can (or is wery close to) be watterproof. Save the boltholes on the bottom, anything you carry in it will be protected from moisture quite good, even if you spend a day on beach, or cross a river, riding that bike. You did not mention this advantage, your product do have over other products. The same with possibility to wash it, use it for transport of sand, dirt, rocks, hell even mud or manure, and then, after propper cleaning use it in the city among the people. Again, it is advantage of your product, but the potential custommers who does not think about the product after seing your commercials, does not see that reason to buy YOURS product. 3rd - next time you will do a commercials (or any advertising), please ask assistance of some marketing-educated friend (or buy that assistance from a stranger). I understand, in your workshop you do use the old clothing with holes, but if you are playing a seller, or proffesional handymen (for the custommer, to more trust you and your product), use some overal work-uniform. It looks more professionally and much less "cheap". Custommers do want buy products from proffessionals (because by deffinition they do know more what are they doing) and they do not like buing from (seemingly) poor, (or at least by apparence poor) suppliers, because GOOD suplier, who is selling GOOD product does mind the details even in clothing. 4th - regarding details - it might to be better, if you use some pimped-out version of the trailer in your spot. Some lights, reflective surfaces on the box - simply something, from what can be seen, that the trailer is ment for real traffic. Also, regarding details. Did you consider possible lawsuit against you, if any of your custommers cut his/hers fingers on the metal cut-out part? Is that information included in user manual you sell with the trailer? Do you have any user manual at all? AND is it not better to use hard plastik glued caps on the cut-out parts, or even hard plastik skeleton of the trailer? Safer, lighter, free of any corosion.
Ok! 1. What’s wrong with the paintwork on that bikes rear triangle? And 2. Every other company uses a tow hitch attached to the rear axle. Why would you use one that’s pig ugly, and attached with jubilee clips?
Then build it yourself. You are forgetting the cost of labor. He can refine it some more (use a metal box), but people tend to forget the price of labor to build it, engineer it, etc.
Anytime a Hose clamp or wood screws are involved in your trailer, you should rethink your situation. Im more into my B.o.B. Trailer, all the way for me for the last 25 years!
I loved your bike trailer kit. I went to your link and could not find more info. I would like to buy a storage box kit. Can you send me price and more info ? Can it be doubled to two storage boxes side by side ? Please send me more info and contact email. Thanks !
That takes to long i use the same tupperware on my burly flatbed with bungee cords way easier and if I whant my flatbed i just take the bungee cords off and the container in seconds.
OMG, with a Plastic Storage Container and 2 Kid's Bike Wheels and Precut Square Tubes and Few Nuts and Bolts and Clamps and it's 300 Bucks? WTF??? Are you serious? LMFAO... Wait but there is more... CHEAP PLY WOOD Painted BLACK on the Bottom :(((
$300?? you are not gonna sell many...nice design tho, but i see the plastic cracking eventually if used enough....dont really see the need for gold anodizing unless u are appealing to the yuppie biker😒😒
I've built several bike trailers over the years(trial & error in the beginningLOL!), but if the whole thing were built like a frame and the plastic tote were inserted, then I see it holding up better. Yet the square bar isn't as sufficient as using round bar. Not-to-mention the axles will eventually bow, seeing that they're only peg axles ...thus he should be using a thru axle made from 1" galvenized round bar, preferably threaded, or holes drilled to allow for cutter pins. His present efforts are no better than building one out of PVC tubing ...those trailers will usually hold 25-50 lbs. depending.
i make bicycle trailers and that has got to be the worst made trailer i have ever seen the wheels and trailer bar bolted into that piece of wood will never last with any kind of real use.and for the money they are charging for that piece of junk?cmon give me a break you've got to be kidding right?say your just joking.i make way better cargo trailer out of aluminum and steel and all i charge is100 bucks and mine last for years.my first trailer i made and sold 10 years ago is still going strong.i'm sorry but i really can't see this thing even lasting for 3 months.i don't mean to be so harsh on you but i just don't like seeing people being ripped off for there hard earned money.
A cheap ass piece of garbage , at a ridiculous price , anyone could build a way better stronger one for under 50 . You guys need to have a serious rethink . Waaay too expensive .
Love the simplicity of it, great idea.
beautiful, simple, aesthetically
pleasing
I really like that box and it's so cool to pull on the bike safe from the rain👍👍👍and I also focus on your handsome face😁🤭😍🤩🥰😘
Cool! You just need some lights or reflectors on it. 😊
This is a great shopping cart. Load up in shop. Checkout load up and off you go. An easy DIY project too. Bigger box bigger trailer. Simples
Great job, simple and functional.
best DIY trailer ever
Nice design and clever use of a storage container rather than reinventing the wheel so to speak🤔
RIP Kanner Karts.
web domain is for sale. guess these didnt sell well at $300 looking at old comments. thats more than my bike costed.🍻
great design mate!
Lockable secure lid with a roof rack be a def plus and selling point 👍
Wow! Thumbscrew hose clamps, I never knew such things existed. Thanks!
Hi, I am in Australia, how can I get construction details about your Bike Trailer in a Box? Geoff.
Genius idea gonna copy that myself 😂👍
What's the name for the screw clips used at 4:33 ?
Will that angle of tow-bar/hitch combination not cause the trailer to track off-center and not follow the bike correctly?
How much did that cost you in total?
I guess you don’t sell them anymore 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Very cool. What's this cost?
Do you sell this ??
Oi eu queria saber a medida dessa caixa e aonde se adquire a mesma
Excelente invento! Simples e rápido para montar. Parabéns.
how do I get one and how do I put it on a wheelchair
Are you selling these?
Now that is some outside of the box thinking. but is there an off-road version in a version that cannot tip over when your bike tips over
Awesome concept!
Excelente, Gran idea. Gracias!!!
No. Suspension system?
Muy buen remolque pero dinos las medidas de las piezas y q tubo utilisaste
Show de bola a ideia.
Tutorial please

Perfection

ah where do you get that trailer in a box
The screws should be quick releases would make fast time and no driver.
If it did not cost so much I would be interested in buying one
Wtf, its so nice. I will build IT too 😍
I like everything except the hitch. A simple piece attached to the axle would look so much better.
He visto muchos remolques y este es el mejor.
des idëes magnifiques 😍
very good job young man it's not that expensive to do either is it
I actually like what you did. You guys just gotta refine it a bit more.
Would be better if you put the screws in from the inside to the outside then your stuff will not be damage inside the plastic container.
Looks like a great idea for a trailer. How's it holding up?
No washers?
Drexel Ferguson ....gotta save money somehow😃😃
nice concept but can build it myself for less than 50 bucks. Wouldn't even think about 300.00.
Then build it yourself. You are forgetting the cost of labor. He can refine it some more (use a metal box), but people tend to forget the price of labor to build it, engineer it, etc.
Orlando Perrone if labour costs that much he has a bad business model
I look forward to seeing your own model. You can post a link in the comments here.
you need elecric screwdriver too.
Very cool. Wish I knew how to weld. Better take some classes. Nice job.
Anytime a Hose clamp or wood screws are involved in your trailer, you should rethink your situation. Im more into my B.o.B. Trailer, all the way for me for the last 25 years!
