Not sure if anyone else has posted about this, but if you are having trouble changing the dates from the European model to the United States model, what you'll want to do is go to File --> Spreadsheet Settings --> under General look for Local and change it from United Kingdom to United States.

Last year the Cawpile spreadsheet helped me so much because I struggle with star ratings and being stuck between different ratings and the spreadsheet made it so much easier. And I'm loving the V2 Plus version, I can't wait to start using it! Thank you for the work you put into making it, I can't imagine it was easy!
The time and care put in these spreadsheets is amazing! Thank you so much G!!! 💛To be honest, last year I only kept track of my reading using CAWPILE until July, then life got busier and I just kept forgetting to fill in the data as I finished the books, the same happened with my reading journal... I'll try again this year! One thing I added in mine was "Hours read", instead of pages, for the audiobooks, I would calculate the "hours of the audiobook/the speed I listened" (like: 6/1.5) so it would track the hours I actually listened and I also made a graph for it in the stats sheet. Again, amazing work, thank you so much! 🥰
I started using CAWPILE last year with your spread and it made rating so much easier because I could organize my thoughts and feelings into the categories. I also noticed that because I was not giving half stars I had with be honest with how I felt about the book, which helped a lot at the end of 2020 when I chose my favorites of the year

I've just popped in from Jadeyraereads' new video and am absolutely in love with your rating system! I tested it out with some of my recent reads, and got... the exact same star rating I gave them originally. Magic. 🤯 I've always been a person who finds it difficult to articulate WHY I felt a certain way about a book, and just looking at everything divided up into CAWPILE makes it so much easier to put into words. I used the spreadsheet last year, it helped me know more about my reading habits (and it's so satisfying seeing this long list of books at the end of the year haha) so thank you a lot ! I will definitely use the "plus" version this year. I will add a column to see how much money I save each time I don't buy a book, as I did last year. It helped a lot to have more control on how much money I spend on books.

This is AMAZING. I was so excited to find CAWPILE last year and it really helps me think critically about the ambiguity of star rating and write better reviews overall. Also, the series tracking..... I really need this in my life. I have just downloaded the spreadsheet - its fab! I'm boring and have decided on the basics V2 but love how mindful it makes me on reviewing. I ran a few of my recent reads through from last year to compare to my 'gut feeling' ratings which was interesting too. Definitely going to use this from now on - so glad I found your channel x
I've been enjoying using Storygraph for stats but think I will start using this in 2022. I love how this breaks down different things to consider about a book that isn't just I liked it or I didn't.
Thanks again for this system! I found it a couple months ago and completely went back through my books read over the awful year that is never to be named again, critically thinking about each book. I compared the rating CAWPILE gave me with what I gut rated them and it was such a relief! So many of my truly enjoyed 4-5 stars kept their rating, while upon reflection, many books that I didn’t enjoy as much or simply ground through for sake of series dropped in score, as they should. Using your system made me feel much better about the star ratings I give. It no longer feels arbitrary. I feel like the books deserve the stars I ultimately gave them and let’s face it: not everything is a 5 star and I was handing those out like candy on Halloween. I want to be more intentional. Which leads me to another wonderful thing your system did for me: it helped me realize that I was reading a lot of white chicks that write fantasy. That sounds bad, but it was the truth. It prompted me to join a reading challenge that is designed to broaden my horizons in authors, genres and subjects. So again: Thank You! I had downloaded the spreadsheet to use on my computer with Excel and actually broke the stats page by doing it, lol, but doing that also helped get me back into coding, trying to recreate charts that suited my wants, and let me add in category columns and other charts, much like what you’ve added for the CAWPILE Plus with categories from your other viewers that I hadn’t thought of. This has been a wonderful tool for my #ReaderLife and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I don’t want to imagine going back to a life of reading without this in it. ❤️

I really loved this speadsheet last year, and I was using it again for this year (now i will use this one) I did end up changing some colours, columms and graphics styles that I did't use. So you still can adapt it to your liking. Thanks a lot for the new changes.

I think a good addition to the series/stand-alone spot could be anthology and/or short story. I just read a short story from an anthology (multiple authors) and didn't know what to categorize it as.
2020 was the first full year I used your CAWPILE rating system and I love it 😍 I wanted to download it in 2019 but I wasn't able to use it bc of my laptop. So I used it in my book journal the past 1+ year :) However, I bought myself a new tablet (it should arrive next week 😍) and I hope I can download and use the online and advanced version of this amazing rating system 😌 Thank you soooo much for doing this! I didn't know you could make the CAWPILE even more useful to me than it was last year! This is perfect! Last year CAWPILE showed me how bad I was doing when it came to reading books by BIPOC authors, and it kept me accountable for the rest of the year. I got it down from 89.7% white authors to 74.5%, and I'm hoping that trend will continue. I love the inclusion of the lgbtqia+ columns, and the author's country one, because that last one will help me in my quest to read from more countries. So thank you G, for your hard work.

I love this! I used it all last year, only thing I've changed is to make the 5* bracket slightly wider as I found I wasn't giving many 5*s. But that's why I love this, so customizable!
I think it could be useful to have a 'translated' section near the language bit, and what language it is translated from. As someone who can only read English, translated works are the best way to read from other countries and expand my world-view of books!

I didn't know you could make the CAWPILE even more useful to me than it was last year! This is perfect! Last year CAWPILE showed me how bad I was doing when it came to reading books by BIPOC authors, and it kept me accountable for the rest of the year. I got it down from 89.7% white authors to 74.5%, and I'm hoping that trend will continue. I love the inclusion of the lgbtqia+ columns, and the author's country one, because that last one will help me in my quest to read from more countries.

I love this! I used it all last year, only thing I've changed is to make the 5* bracket slightly wider as I found I wasn't giving many 5*s. But that's why I love this, so customizable!

I think it could be useful to have a 'translated' section near the language bit, and what language it is translated from. As someone who can only read English, translated works are the best way to read from other countries and expand my world-view of books!
