I inherited this machine with several different embroidery programs and don’t know how it works. Went to my local Viking sewing retailer and no one could help so I have been lost on how I can use my machine. Nothing on TH-cam about this specific model. Finally a video outlining my machine model! Wish there were more tutorials please.

I now own a newer machine , but I keep the Rose machine for a backup plus it has the embroidery unit that has not gotten much use until now. I am finding vintage cards for the machine and other pieces of accessories. The Rose was a work horse, and still is !!! Thank you again for posting t his video!!!!!!!!1
I bought my Rose new many about 20 years ago. Because of outdated software, I probably will not be using it for embroidery now. However, I had forgotten all the sewing features available on this machine! Love the tutorial! Thanks!

You probably have found the manual for the Husqvarna Rose machine already, but you can download a copy from Manuals at Husqvarna . com for free or there is another place online that I think is called Manuals library. You do not have to pay to download from these sites. Other sites try to grab your hard earned cash. Inherited this machine ,newer used it before .The spool symbol is flashing on the display. I re-thread the machine, the symbol did not go out .Try few times did not work.
The tension disks may not be gripping the thread properly and the machine "thinks" your top thread is broken and not needled take a thin sheet of paper and slide it between the disks in the tension area it is also possible there is a piece of randomly broken off thread in between the disks. I had that happen to my Viking Rose.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. For some reason my button hole attachment will not work. When I plug it into the slot next to the light, it light up on the display, and I select the buttonhole on the display. It shows a circle, but it won't go off and it will not sew.
If you are referring to the embroidery area, the maximum it can normally embroider is 4" x4" (100mm x 100mm) . If you need larger designs you will need to split the designs with software and use the Plus Hoop. There are certain embroidery collections such as collection #15 that require the plus hoop because they are larger
