Stereo out is limiting. Would have loved to use this to run multitracks to a digital mixer via dante. It would save the hassle of needing an audio interface on stage
The video implies the USB C AVIO adaptor will provide power to a connected mobile device. Can you tell me if the power supplied by the AVIO USB-C is sufficient to keep an iPad pro running all day?
How is the AD conversion in these? I need quality. So lets say I have a Mackie mixer 16 channel(I would use the XLR adapters) and I want that main out piped to the network so my mackbook m2 can see it. At that point do I just need the free dante software to record to a DAW?
What is the distance range of the bluetooth to the device? In other words how far away can you be away from the transmitter with your mobile device? This is important to know.
Question. If it's 2 channel can I use it simultaneously in and out? Example: Can I run a teams audio call OUT NDI into vmix, and my microphone back in at the same time? Or is it just in & out separately?
Hi David. As these devices have Analog I/O you would need any of our Dante Analog AVIO Adapters. We offer models with 1 or 2 channels, so please check our website for more information.
I want to get all the AVIO adapters, even the older USB Type A. Is there a bundle available. I am Audio Engineer and Level2 & Dante AV so far. I am in Canada where prices are more expensive
No. The Bluetooth adapters need an operating system to load the USB audio driver on. Windows, OSX, Linux, and mobile devices. No end point devices will work such as headphones or speakers.
No sorry Abe, we only do up to 40ms of delay in Dante, and that’s only with our Domain Manager product and the larger devices based on our Brooklyn II chipsets. For that kind of delay you’ll need a DSP or other device to slow down the audio before it goes over to the AVIO, or after the AVIO in an analog device.
