It was very dry before the rain on Friday. The course was super nice then the rain just made everything sloppy. Had to make do with the weather we got.
He is very real I was there and in person he's really good people and matt thanks for the save the squares sticker hope to see you at another event me and pop's toy
Yeah! You’ll have a blast. Plus it's aways good to try out stuff when you know you have the safety net of a bunch of people around to help if you get stuck.
I felt that jeeper comment. I had to drive through snow over mountain passes with no top or doors in my yj. The guy i bought it from kept it in a warehouse when he wasn't using it so of course i bought it in the winter and had to drive it back home 3 hours.😊
Haha. Any ducks I would have had would have been bounced into the mud! thanks! It was great finally getting it out there…. Now to find bigger mud tires. 😆
I noticed that in the unimog you were the only one not wearing a seatbelt. Then on the obstacle course again you were not wearing your seatbelt. Is there a reason for this?
So I didn't in the UNIMOG cause quite frankly it was so massive and overwhelming that I kinda forgot all about. For the YJ, I actually was wearing the lap part of the seat belt, but put the chest strap behind me because my seat belts tend to lock and tighten really easily and it makes it hard and uncomfortable to drive getting bounced around like that.
You did not miss a video. I just have been a little slack on that department. The tick I’m sure is a leak in the exhaust manifold. I have plans of getting it fixed, but I have not done it yet.
@@SimplyMustGo ok good. I was literally worried. Haha. And also. I have the same exact ticking on my 2.5. But haven’t gotten to it as well. So I was wondering what you found before I dive into mine. Love your projects. And videos. Keep on Jeepin on.
In theory I could have tried them, but I was so stuck on that log that I didn’t really think I’d be able to get the boards in a position that would allow me to get over them. Particularly because of the open diffs, the tire with out traction is going to be the one spinning. Plus it was so gross and muddy that I felt like that was just going to be a muddy disaster and it would ultimately be easier, faster and less messy to just use the winch.
A family member lent me their Jeep to drive 2hrs one-way in Atlanta to get to work, then 2hrs back to get home... in the rain ... and I STILL would NEVER be a Jeeper. Long live the 80series Land Cruiser, which I drive now All the doors, none of the BS. Even so ... carry on. A Unimog is another level... so long as you have a crane to change a tire. First time viewer, naturally have to give you ***t. Sub'd May we one day meet. Cheers!
We really enjoyed the event, socializing and trails.
Yeah it was good time for sure!
Looked like a good time. I’m not a big mud guy but I would have made an exception for an obstacle course. Lol. And that unimog was so sweet!!
Just be glad I didn't take the JKU through... You'd be spending the whole weekend trying to get mud off before you could get to any real parts. haha
@@SimplyMustGo lol. I hate when people do that too.
@@leemen hahaha. 😂

@@skangobango hey! It was still a great time and tons of fun!
Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet up, Glad you got some video of Rampage pulling out the Bronco. I was too busy winching and missed recording it.
Yeah man. We’ll need to catch up soon! I'm just glad you were able to get him out! Otherwise we’d have been sitting there even longer. 😆

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the sticker!
Great video! We had a ton of fun at this event with our Lifted Pilot!
Thank you!! It was a great time!
looked great. I am glad to see her being took care of. Wish I had know bout it. I have a 16 wrangler now. BTW Emo looks great wearing mud brother.!!!
That looked awesome! Can’t wait to try some stuff like that in my Jk.

Hahaha. Yeah. It’s an experience all its own! 🤣
Don't you know real jeepers are measured by the amount of dash ducks?😂 awesome video. Great to see the black yj getting out

What was the fix for the engine ticking on EMO? Did I miss a video?

That yj would have gotten out if you had posi its pretty cool though
Na, even then it was too turtled and the mud was too slick. It would have done it if I had driven it better though. 🤣
@SimplyMustGo have more faith lockers and hitting it with your purse would've got it 😆
That's what jeeps are for, to get as muddy as possible.
Yeah... but the washing after.... ugh. haha oh well. it's worth it.
why not use your traction recovery boards?

My brother has an 80series so I can’t say I disagree. It’s pretty awesome. Thanks so much for subbing! Look forward to see you out there one day!
