I don’t watch TV much (there was no TV in the house growing up), so I first saw Maura in the movie “Insomnia” with Al Pacino. Maura has a small part and was really impressive to me in her time on the screen. Since then I have watched YT videos of her, mainly interviews and really enjoy her off-screen personality. I think she’s great as a person as I haven’t actually seen very much of her professional work. 🙂
I love this actress, her simple manners, her voice, also, it seems as if she´s a humble woman. I loved her in THE AFFAIR. Hope to see her in any other work soon.

Maura Tierney’s Helen was the best part of The Affair, IMO. I don’t think the show’s creators envisioned Helen to be a lead character, but Maura is too talented to just be an ensemble player. She’s so watchable. I still watch it on Prime, and I fast-forward through the Noah/Allison scenes to get to Helen/Vic & Cole.
Glad I’m not the only that does that lol I can’t get enough of her acting. Catch her on Electric Dreams ep 9 “Safe & Sound” on Prime. She’s the coolest!

She'll always be Lisa Miller from Newsradio to me, but I also saw her in Liar Liar. I know she was in ER but I never watched that show regularly but may have seen her a few times when I tuned in when she joined them.
