THANKS for a very detailed, narrated demonstration. Great lighting and was all clear and on focus. THANK YOU !!!
From the picture of it, on line, I couldn't make out how it worked. And whether or not to get a knife switch type or a knob type L-pad type, or just take the terminal off every time. I'm going to get a top post style for my 1986 Mercury Colony Park Station-Wagon. There's something, very minute, that will sap the battery overnight. It's NOT a phone charger, nor a light. I've been thru it. The battery is clean, so it's not discharging THAT way. The best is to raise the hood and disconnect the battery.
    THANKS again for your video.
    I Subbed.

I'm glad that you took it apart because I wasn't sure how it worked and wasn't going to buy it. Thanks

So excited to try this. Going to install it today!! So sick of my battery draining. I think my clock is the culprit in this ole '79. 😊

I got it in but for some reason I had to add a washer for it to properly tighten to the battery but that's ok. The screw was a tad too short. It works great and I love it!! 👍👍

Oops, meant screw was too long, lol. I tried to reverse them but that way was way too short. Regardless, it works. 😁

The washer is for the side that has the threads. Sometimes they have two bolts one don’t work for the battery. I don’t know why they put it in there. They only need one bolt with it the one that threads.

Don’t need to wear in. It works perfect. When you take it out of the package you overemphasize that point it’s not necessary but the presentation is great Cuz it’s a simple thing to install.

I just wasted 5 minutes of my valuable time to watch some guy take apart and put it back together over and over again. WOW. I am very impressed. Why couldn't you show how it hooks up to the battery.

My 2013 newly purchased corvette has this switch attached to the positive post. It continues to lose power and everything dies. I want to remove but don’t know what to do with my 2 wires. Help!

Well, when you hook up a battery, you connect the positive first.
Then you connect the negative last.
So it goes on the negative.

I got this and the bolt does not screw into side post and the cable doesn't tighten on its side of the connector. POS.

I would like to see you hook it up to a side post battery, just looking at the part is not a skill

Mike Barker has an excellent video of how to install it. That's the one I used to help put mine in. Much better than the one I mentioned from Mike. Good luck. I love mine.

Geezus would you climb out of a car and disconnect a battery lead while the car was still running? No! This product does the same thing, just in a quicker, more convenient fashion. Screw your entitled complaining smh comment. Grow up.

If you can’t figure out how this works after watching the video then you probably don’t need to be driving anyway.
