So glad he said he wants to tone down the backseating. He was getting pulled in 5 different directions constantly by people trying to help last time. His boyfriend Speedy is always saying how smart he is so I don't even think he needs the backseating. Although, I get that Elden Ring is a big game and it's rough as someone's first FromSoft game. I just hope he keeps enjoying it, even if he's magic scum.

Most souls fans back seat because the game Don really give direction. But I can see it gets annoying
They literally kept doing it.. "do this" "get this item" "why are you using magic?" "go to this specific place for a specific item" without him asking, I don't get why people go into streams just to backseat, go play the game yourself.

Side a good note about rock sling. Enemies that dodge a lot dodge the wrong part of that spell. They dodge when the rocks come out of the ground so you will hit them 90% of the time with that compared to all the misses you get with glintstone pebble.

The dead spirits like the one in the cage if you can find a painting pertaining to the story they have you will set them free and get something for your troubles.
I mean this as no slight to Side, but holy shit I heard about how broken meteor staff and rock sling were but I didn't think they'd be this good with such a low level character

Ive beaten elden ring 8 times. Ive never enjoyed watching a fresh playthrough like this even of it is a magic one.... Thank god the backseating is over, 87 percent of chat is completely clueless. Keep posting this shit king

I agree with toning down the back seating as well. Sofria river well and that crazy elevator down is one of the most incredible moments of the game and all of chat is like “erm leave now! You don’t need this area leave!” I’m glad side explored it anyway because it’s such a cool place
Side if your going to stay mage you should look up on were to go for the magic side quests theres like 2 major side quests for magic users and 1 main quest. But you'll have like 12 memory slots after finishing the quests and open would puzzles to get max memory slots. Plus it's good to get the memory stones for faith as well.
Don’t be afraid to tell chat to shut up and let you explore. Seems like everyone is trying to pull you in different directions. You’ll stumble on so many bosses just by exploring and they’ll all be beneficial since they give runes
Ik this is probably a long shot, but it would be awesome if you could get some other crew members on this game once you finish your playthrough. Fighting bosses with the crew would be so fun to watch

Sorry keep missing the stream. Side if you want to switch to a faith build with the black flame stuff your learning more towards a melee build than a mage.
However you decide to play the game is greatly up to you melee weapons are nice to have though with there Ashes of war (L2 Button) that do have long range great attacks

The radagon talismans are amazing the final one i use all the time on my mage. The claw talisman on my melee

I'm liking the videos, however it does seem like it's starting to just be chat says go here, you go there and that sequence on repeat, without you even getting to go where you want and explore, imo it's not as entertaining to watch as when you started but nevertheless it's still fun to watch you show us lesser gamers how much better u are 😂❤
