A very well made summary. Perfect Cell was a great analogy of facing your greatest enemy but also having your biggest weaknesses to exploit. Every single ambition and mistake these characters made was also part of Cell as well.
He was the perfect mix of those whose cells made him, including a perfect mix of their flaws. His Vegeta, his Goku his Frieza; they all lead him to push Gohan until the boy snapped and killed perfectly flawed bio-mechanical android.
Let’s all take a minute to realize Cell’s potential must have been otherworldly. Funny though that the inner egos clashed and caused his demise. Great video Scholar keep up the great work!

I really like this, it is very well put together, thought out, and explained, but the one thing I think was Cell's greatest disadvantage was that he had a 'perfect' form, Like you said when he Gohan overpowered him and he came back from blowing up, he was desperate and weak, then got a massive power boost. Instead of spending 10 days standing around and doing nothing, he very easily could have tapped into the Frieza Cell's within him and grow way stronger, but due to having a 'perfect' form, a notion prebaked into him by Dr Gero, a weak human that was not even fully knowledgeable about what Goku and the others were capable of, Cell would probably never even consider training, or gaining more power, even with those cells within his body, and all power ups he got would solely be from near death Zenkai Boosts. If Cell ever got the thought to go beyond his previous notion of perfection, he would be unstoppable. It would be like Vegeta if he truly believed Super Saiyan was the true, ultimate form a Saiyan could take and never train again, and be in total denial if he was constantly getting his ass handed to him and seeing Goku go 5 Super Saiyan levels beyond him, only accidently getting stronger from near death experiences.
Imperfect cell was a better written villain more intriguing very strategic crafty and as a kid was actually scared. Perfect cell was kind of boring elitist snobbish wasted alot of time made alot of mistakes and lost what made him interesting in the first place. Frieza was much better not even close in terms of character.
This is all considering that Goku had “good” already in his DNA and didn’t have a lust to dominate or destroy like the other saiyans. Considering a big part of his personality seems to stem from his head injury from when he was a baby, the theory would rely on this altering his DNA … which would seem unlikely. Considering his lust for competition, I believe this and Vegeta’s desire to find stronger opponents to test themselves was the saving grace for cell not destroying everyone in an instant.
Frieza would have never given his opponents 10 days to get ready for him. Hate to say it, but it’s the Goku that did him in. Cell had already won. It was just too easy for him to take it.

What Vegeta did to him by letting him gain his perfect form to test his power, is what he did to Gohan by letting Gohan unleash his hidden power to test his perfect form. It was the ego he inherited from Vegeta. He wanted to fight a powerful opponent, and after Gohan told him about his rage boost, he wanted to see it for himself. It was all Vegeta.

Now, whether Perfect Cell has reached his final form depends on if you see Imperfect Cell as being in his first form or second form.

I like to think that Gohan effectively broke Cell's mind, and thus when he came back he was insane. He always planned to destroy the Earth when he was done with it, but it wasn't until his return that he decided to go full omnicide. And as much of a prick as he was before, he at least wasn't a random murderer. Everyone he killed, he killed for a reason. The English dub even has him say "killing the helpless quickly grows old."
Cell knows information from his own cells. He knew it was called a Kamehameha yet he's never seen one in action. So the 2/5ths still provide stored information just on a genetic level because Dr Gero is wild.
I find you are definitely right that freeza and king cold were never interested in testing their power against stronger fighters as saiyans like to do but i do think that having to train and goku slowly rubbibing off on him over the years have affected freeza in a way where by super the spark and love for fighting has somewhat awakened within him. If updated dna samples were taken for like a Perfect-er Cell Ex+ Mk3.14 or whatever, hold the king cold he might not be so flawed this time around 😂

Looking at the downfall of cell all the dna 🧬 cells of all the other fighters all those personalities cell achieved his perfect form when absorbed Androids 17&18 but the biggest downfall of cell was the fact he that fully did not understand all the weakness that he had of the other fighters and at was his Ultimate Downfall

Cell is a MONSTER... and once he reached the "Perfect" Cell form, he became a Perfect MONSTER and once he was able to resurrect himself from a single surviving CELL in the after life realm, he became SUPER Perfect MONSTER... and once he figured out or learned how to do instant transmission... haha! Cell's purpose is to be a MONSTER... he does not have a structure like Freezer, the Saiyans or even Dr Gero... in fact not even like Artificial Humans 17 and 18... because Cell even in his Super Perfect final form is really a MONSTER... he does things that a monster would do, he EATS or CONSUMES... how did you miss that... he does that to the humanoid beings on the planet, that makes him no different than True Buu or the Ancient Buu or "Kid" Buu... he is a MONSTER and the only reason he doesn't one shot destroy the Solar System is because Dr Gero programmed a game mindset to fight and best and play with Goku until he kills him... If they don't know super saiyan that means they're not supposed to know anything from namek, which is where they launched suoer saiyan. Meaning they shouldn't know about freiza and king cold. If the androids learned about freiza and King cold when they arrived on earth, then they should know about trunks and his super saiyan transformation. But the androids never knew anything about that. Also, I just thought of another one. Lol. Trunks came from the future that wasn't saved by anyone from the future. Which means in trunks timeline, just like on the main time line, freiza and king cold must have arrived on earth but there was no trunks from the future to destroy them.
