Charles was always great. Good to see Roger still going at it.

This is insane. Most of the youngsters can run at that speed.

Because of our ages being the same, I was always looking at the back of Charlies head. He had me join the 4X100 relay team for our age group at the 2011 Senior Games in Houston. For three of a five year period, Charlie and everyone else in most races were looking at the back of Bill Collins. Fantastic talent and enjoyed racing against and with Roger Pierce when I joined Mass Velocity after moving to the St. George, UT area in 2010. Thinking of training for the sprints when I turn 79 to get ready for 80. Sure will need a lot of training being away since 2012. To all the senior sprinters out there, keep enjoying your passion for the sport. Dan K.

That’s what running is about training. So what is your point of saying he had more time to train?

@@inwalkjazz the joke is he’s been around for super long and could train a lot in those years.
