      I wonder why he wasn't, like Tommy was, arrested and held in advance of his next appearance 'just to make sure he'd turn up'. Re Tommy, this was a blatant excuse to prevent him from attending today's march and to try to stir trouble which might have then led to 'far right rioters' lies and media stories. Plan failed.
      Has anyone else ever heard of anyone on bail to appear in court being arrested in advance to ensure their attendance?

    I can't believe my ears Julia Hartley-Brewe. Peter Lynch did not commit a crime "I'm sorry". I gather you didn't do any research at all! Pathetic! Did you see the video of what happened? It was about five minutes long. He was at that protest but did not participate in any of the violence. He had no record. He was holding a sign and got a little mouthy that's it. I usually think you're great, not this time. VERY disappointed in you right now! Do some research before commenting on something like this. It's obvious in this case you did not. Why aren't any of you asking whether or not he really committed suicide? Under the circumstances knowing these people are getting harassed by Islamists in jail. Maybe you don't know since you apparently don't do any research. Do you think the Gov. would want the public to know if he was murdered? I don't think so. Suggestion - Spend more time researching than listening to yourselves speak. British might have been the first to abolish slavery but it was the Christians that ended it! There you go again! Pfff!

  • @victoriacoomber9899
    @victoriacoomber9899 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    In regards to reparations. Does the UK taking a £20 million pound loan out in 1833 to end slavery not count? At the time it was 40% of the annual budget, which took us until 2014 to repay. Surely that has to be HUGELY significant, that and we were the ones who sent our Navy to fight to end it. The conversation of the slave traders of the same nationality as those captured, needs great attention also. So if reparations were paid, how could it be guaranteed to go to the descendants of those enslaved, rather than the descendants of those who captured and sold their fellow countrymen? Also my Paternal Grandmother was captured by the Nazis, and put to work in a concentration camp. They regularly did medical testing on her, without knowing what was being injected, not to mention the horrific jobs she had to move and bury the dead. Thankfully she survived, moved over here, eventually marrying my English Grandfather and having my Father. She lived until 2008, and only after her passing did we find out a lot of what she experienced, and the multiple 'branding marks' on her body. With the logic of reparations for slavery, that then means that my family are due some from Germany, as she was also enslaved (not that we would ever ask for any). Also what needs to be discussed is the much larger amount of slavery that is STILL happening today. Slavery, torture, and abuse of any kind should not be tolerated, and the actions of our forefathers, in all respects of history definitely needs to be discussed and taught about. In order to change the future so that the future is safer, more peaceful for the generations to come. However paying what would become a worldwide economy destroying amounts of money, for the happenings of the past would only open up the floodgates for other nations to seek reparations from other happenings of the past. We could probably go back to the Vikings if we went down this road. It would be never ending, and only result in more conflict around the world, and we certainly don't need that.

    Khant will be sending his bullet proof tank next, for these crims coming out of the nick, let's stop these people being given bad advice, the only way you could come out with that is if JUST ONE SOLICISTOR was the solicistor for all the accused, these solicitors were told their clients would be given remand if pleading not guilty, who told the solicitors that? cps under orders from two tier?

    The country is short of qualified tradesmen due to Tony Blair closing down all of the further education colleges & trade schools! Now these individuals who would have gone to these establishments & become fine upstanding tradesmen. Now have to commit crimes to go to prison to gain that same training, but now have a criminal record that will hinder their possibility of employment! SO Blair and the Labour party is to blame once again!

      My nan may she rest in peace always used to say tony Blair was more conservative than labour, I guess the clue was in the labour name becoming new labour, he opened the gates for immigrants instead of working out how to process them first so the ones who need help can stay, either didn't send anyone to see if there was weapons of mass destruction, instead believe the Americans and got us into a war, and just a week ago you have a picture of him side by side with the current prime minister both smiling away as if they are the best thing since sliced bread.

    For goodness sake the cars will be leased for a day. They won’t own them as like MG says they can be confiscated under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2000. Still cost a tidy sum to lease one but a load of them probably all chipped in. Law can’t take leased vehicles off them. It’s all for showmanship. I may be wrong but I doubt it. Why would they take the risk of brazenly driving a super car they own knowingly they can have it taken straight off them? They aren’t daft.

    Please, could you discuss
    There are 68k outstanding cases waiting for court at the moment, why are protestors who have in many cases legitimate political issues to air locked up and sentenced to court before the 68000 on the waiting list for court cases ?
    Clearly some of these cases are severely disabled victims awaiting court time and by law are required to be legally heard in front of all other cases, legally discrimination of the disabled section 149 Equalities act 2010 been pushed aside for people who have no such high court protections.
    The letter of the law says that each of these starma courts are in fact committing discrimination against the disabled persons who should have use of public services in front of this starma manipulation of the justice system.
    Clearly its not a legal court under these conditions in international law and UK law. I am surprised that they have not been set free with compensation on appeal ?
