この曲の楽譜を作るのにどのくらい時間がかかったのでしょうか。何ヶ月か前に久石譲の曲に挑戦したことがあるのですが、同じような音を出すことができず、失敗しました。私の一般的なピアノのレベルがまだ十分でないのかもしれません。- でも、今それを克服しているところだ。^_~🌠

I have to admit that I came in contact with his music due to the numerous wonderful Ghibli anime, that were complimented by Joe Hisaishi's great music and VERY skillful piano play. I know that Joe Hisaishi is more than just ghibli music.. but I'm focussing on that first.. ; )
I've ordered a score book in order to practise his Ghibli piano music, especially for Mononoke Hime, Tonari no Totoro and Majo no Takkyuubin.
Unfortunately my piano level is not good enough yet, but I keep learning and practising. It's SO FUN to see and hear when practising pays off getting better in small steps each day. ^_____^
I'm curious to find out how it sounds, when it's complete. * ___ *
And.. may I ask you to play more Ghibli piano pieces, please? : ))

Clif, most certainly, I will continue to play Joe Hisaishi's masterpieces! 💜 🎹. Thank you for sharing the orchestra from Budokan. He came to the U.S. on the world tour earlier this Summer and I traveled to NYC to see him and the orchestra. I was incredibly moved and touched the entire concert. He played and conducted almost all of the Ghibli movies including Totoro, Kiki, Spirited Away, Mononoke, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, etc. where he had contributed his music. His grown daughter even joined him and sang a couple of songs on the stage (she's the little girl who sang lalala 🎵 in Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind). He performs in Europe as well. about Joe Hisaishi's Ghibli music: It's definitely special, but always heart warming and comforting at the same time. - Creates a good feeling and is definitely supporting the movies a lot. My primary aim is not yet Joe Hisaishi, since I fear it's far above my level yet. I found Yuki Kajiura's music more compatible to my current skill level.. atleast I believe so. ; ) - Still, I'm trying Joe Hisaishi's ghibli music from time to time to see how much closer I am now. - And indeed making progress. 🎉🌠 - As soon as I can perform something from Joe Hisaishi close to "good" I will upload a demo take on my YT channel. : ) - Can't wait to play the Totoro theme in a way so it's rounded up and comforting. 😊
I've seen (and listenened to) all your Joe Hisaishi videos and am amazed! 😲 I will continue my practise to become able to play this way too.
Ohh! You were on his concert even! - Awesome! I'd like to go too! Good idea to subscribe his newsletter, indeed! : ] - I can imagine being in such a concert is a one-of-a-lifetime event. I remember watching the Budokan concert (I believe it was broadcasted on NHK back then), and felt completely moved most of the time, even though it's just on a screen!
Good to know he's giving concerts outside of Japan also. Something new to look out for. 🤩
