It would be so satisfying for us as viewers if you could include the process of putting your read books on your read shelves 😄that's one of my favorite parts of finishing a book!
Would loooove to see a new reading kindle unlimited books for a week video - I’m trying to get the maximum use out of my membership and would love some recs!!
I would love to see videos of you recapping and deep diving into your thoughts about a book/series. Full of spoilers and your fav parts, quotes you underlined ect. For books like happy place or magnolia parks series. You said in a recent reading vlog you could talk all day about happy place and I’m like yes!!! Please do!!!
Hi Rachel!! I am always behind in watching your videos, but I refuse to miss one! Whenever it is time to watch, I am so excited!!!! Your videos are such a vibe and make me so happy!! Just curious, I just had a thought. What do you do with the books you don't enjoy? Do you still keep them on your shelf, or do you get rid of them. If the later, then where?
I read 'Songs in Ursa Major' a couple of years ago and I loved it so much, gave it 5 stars. I reckon it's a personal preference kind of thing, though. Personally I love stories about tortured souls caught in the web of their own making and seeing them overcome addiction and whatnot feels so satisfying to me. It was also realistic regarding personal growth the characters went through and it made my heart ache a lot. I'm sorry you didn't feel it as much as DJATS (ten thousand stars) but also glad you gave it a go and enjoyed for the most part. :)
If you are a fan of Daisy Jones I highly recommend watching Almost Famous! It's one of my favourite films of all time and perfectly captures that 70's rock n roll vibe.
saw you pull out songs in ursa major and was already so excited ! i bought a mystery box with so many books i had never heard of before, and that was one of them so hopefully this'll inspire me to read it
I’ve never been one to comment on videos, but then I decided to do it on your last video and it felt good, so I’m gonna continue 😊 This video concept is now inspiring me to pick up Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries, which I bought thanks to your recommendation, but for some reason I’ve been avoiding it..don’t know why… but I feel like the time has come, so thank you!!
Great reading vlog💕. I completely agree with you about A song in Ursa Major (I also gave it 3.5 stars and I read Daisy Jones first and enjoyed it more). Romantasy books are so similar and I'm currently burnt out on them because I've read too many of them (I'm getting into dark romance now to read something different).
I also struggled with Songs of Ursa Major because it felt like it was trying to be Daisy Jones, but not as good. I really liked the beginning! But then it fell off from there.
I need to do this so bad I have like 10 at the minimum that I keep avoiding. Some are books from when I was about 12 and they are part of a series I adored when I was so little. And I want the nostalgia again. Others are booktuber books
My opinion is that you should just DNF the book if your not enjoying it I think you should spend your efforts on something you really love and not something that’s meh!
When you were speaking about better hate than never it reminded me of a book called 99% Mine by Sally Thorne. I personally am not a romance girly but I did read it as it was one I needed to knock of the tbr. I’d be interested to know if you’ve read that book or any others by Sally Thorne- The Hating Game?
I know what you mean about connecting with a book I just finished the benevolent society of ill mannered ladies and loved it and I'm so sad the second book isn't out until may next year 😢
I’ve been interested in one of Chloe Liese books from her Bergman Brothers series and I was curious if you have read any of them and if you recommend?! I love that she represents a lot of chronic illness etc. In her books!📚✨
Better Hate Than Never - I've never heard of that book AND i haven't read The Taming Of The Shrew BUT 10 Things I Hate About You is my FAVOURITE movie and it is based on the Taming Of The Shrew sooooo maybe i should read Better Hate Than Never! 🤔
Commenting early but I love Songs in Ursa Major but i hope you like it too. Editing to add after seeing your review, the author actually takes inspiration from Joni Mitchell.
heyy rachel!! i recently read akarnae by lynette noni after seeing u talk about it in a tbr video ..annddd its sooooo good i think u should definitely give it a shot!!
I just thrifted a book haul of 231 books for 37 dollars for my book giveway at applebees( 3701 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70002). I am the host there. I have given away over 2600 books for babies kids teens and adults in 10 months. I just dropped 2 videos showing the haul . Let's get this generation reading

She’s pretty religious, might be why
the sunny angel thing is so so weird to me what is this trend
Just another trend of excessive consumerism 😅
