This was the Tube 1986. Watched Cherry Bombz UFO & Ozzy Osbourne at Channel 4 studios in Newcastle. Same night Ozzy played the Mayfair Newcastle on the Ultimate Sin Tour. Went to both, Killer gigs. At the age of 15 talked to Jake e lee at the tube, he give me a lit cigarette which I nearly chocked on. I do remember he was wearing 2 different colored converse trainers but was really cool talking to all the kids before they went on, a great guy. I also remember getting a Randy drum stick at the mayfair which was wrestled from me buy a 30+ year/stone guy............tosser.
He is alive and well in central California. Plays in a few bands and is better than ever. I play 1 weekend a month and he blows me away EVERY TIME. And he is the nicest person you could ever meet.
Yes from the tube at Tyne Tees Studios in Newcastle. Cherry Bombs And Ozzy on the same show.Went there at the age of 14/15 then on the same night Ozzy was on at the Mayfair in Newcastle......with Ratt.Awesome show at the Mayfair which was an extra night because he also appeared at the City Hall on the same Ultimate Sin tour a few weeks before.
UK, Channel 4 TV, spring 1986 I think. a programme called "The Tube", every friday night for years and years and years... They had loads of good bands on, not just Metal.
I'm about a year late commenting about the Schenker/Chapman debate but here goes (better late than never) I saw the Phenomenom tour in 1974 (Sunderland Locarno) with Schenker and Chapman. I can still picture the scene. Schenker was standing at the back - to the left of the drum kit - playing rhythm (it was as if he was shy - hiding behind the band) Chapman was right at the front on the right of the stage playing the majority, if not all, of the solos. He was the star of the show.
I don't know why all the bad comments about chapman, in my opinion "no place to run" "the wild willing and the innocent" and "mechanix" were all good records, no place to run was one of my favorite ufo albums produced by George Martin by the way give chapman some credit

Thanks so much for posting this. They started playing another song at the end of this. Do you have more UFO from this show? If so, please post.....

the guitarist rocks
WHERE WAS THIS CONCERT FROM?
It was on The Tube, a UK music programme from the 80's
@punksachoo ... Yes, he did, plus Eddie and the Hotrods.
I don't think that is Pete Way. Way didn't return to the UFO spaceship until 1992.
Sure nuff - bass player here is Paul Gray (if memory serves!)
UFO has always the best guitarist's. Schenker,Chapman,Atomic Tommy M, Vinnie Moore etc. But, Michael Schenker is UFO.
Paul Chapman days..lol sure if you like third class guitarist mimicking Schenkers stuff.
The lame years.
Even this guy is better than Chapman yes Atomic is better than Chapman.
