I don´t know how many time I´v seen this vid but I do know it´s always makes me feel happy. The mutual love and respect between Les and Richie is obvious and simply wonderful to watch.
Richie Sambora has always mentioned in his interviews about his really good rapport with LesPaul ...almost a father-son kind of relationship... He misses him to this day ....
Sambora so much better than that damn Zak Wilde. Fucker needs a shave and shower. Wilde can't play without distortion. Sambora can. And actually write a song.
There is something about this channel that transcends guitar/jazz/blues/country guitar playing. The love and respect that the musicians have for Les in his later years is mind blowing. What a legacy.
I detest Bon Jovi but always enjoy Sambora outside that entity. Truly a great blues guitarist. It seems he would have been more suited for Aerosmith or Black Crowes or Skynyrd.
These guys were really good. They had the misfortune of being a horn based, jazz tinged band exactly at the same time as Chicago, Traffic and Steely Dan (Blood Sweat and Tears were just dreadful). There was room for all of them so I can only imagine they had a shitty label who did not promote them or something like that.
londonuk70 Well at that point Les could barely play because of arthritis. You notice you don’t ever hear him do much in these clips because of it. When Les was young he could play a lot faster things than Ritchie could
In his prime, Les could play way tastier licks (he had a far larger bag of tricks) that were way more melodic and utilized more than just the pentatonic scale.
Why do these great artist think by playing fast impresses LES PAUL, he just smiles laughs a little ,and let's them make a complete ass of themselves LOL!
@@srv3355 Well since you asked... If I played with fucking God himself I would at least try to show some class and not play like an 80s butt rocker. Actually I probably could do better.
I've watched more than a dozen of these videos. The only guitarists who didn't embarrass themselves were Larry Carlton, and Brian Setzer. Can you imagine Dickey Betts or Duane Allman saying "I ran out of shit" after thirty-seconds of jamming in "A"? Unbelievable.
I have played for 51 years and respect is always first. I didn't see any one "run out of shit, unbelievably unobservant". Did Satriani run out of shit? Nothing sucks more than the million note shredder who doesn't say a fucking thing.
You didn't see anyone "run out of shit"? Then you weren't paying attention. Sambora stops playing and literally says; "I've run out of shit" at 3:03 in the video.
When a 'popular' musician is actually skilled.
Unfortunately he is associated with the crappy bon Jovi music.
Richie's so excited with that boyish charm, I love it!! So damn talented.
Amazing Richie Sambora🎸❤️
Samboras stranger in a strange town is a great modern blues album.
Dino C stranger in this town. Yes great Album
Yes it is
True, I don’t know why he knocks it. it’s a guitarist record
@@bobby6631it is hard to play blues and Bon Jovi fluff.

Pity les never jammed with the late great Gary Moore!
That would have been amazing!!
Richie Sambora has always mentioned in his interviews about his really good rapport with LesPaul ...almost a father-son kind of relationship... He misses him to this day ....
chris lentz Can I share this video ?
I've watched a lot of this videos, and I have to say that this probably was one of the best.
Thats how you play them blues, joe sat. Take notes.
Max Seven Satriani is a superb blues player.
Joe's blues playing seems not right..
It Seems like Richie could Do or say or Play anyThing Some people Would still hate on him. Great Video great Music anyways
Bluesman 78 sambora is a great guitarist
No body hates Ritchie, man! Only grunge fanbboys do. He's got a great voice too!
It's called "envy"!

Skvělá hra pěknej úsměv.....to je požehnání.......Bůh ti žehnej Richie......Ahoj....K:L:H:
All the shredders need to know, speed riffs are not the way to go......Les is More !!!!!!
@Yeah Whatever 100% true.
@@sohailmaqbool6900 lmao Les played pretty fast in his day this is BS haha
Some say "less can be more" I've always have subscribed to Gary Moore's theory ,if less is more just think of how much more, "more "is!
More is more
@@83roadstarit means they can over play. Sometimes it is what is between the notes that gives a piece of music it's quality.
Richie nailed it! 😆
Class, great playing from ritchie. Found this one after the zakk wylde train wreck. Different league!
Exactly the same here.
Too sad that this video is so short. Ritchie really made a lesson on how to play and behave with Les Paul.
Sambora so much better than that damn Zak Wilde. Fucker needs a shave and shower. Wilde can't play without distortion. Sambora can. And actually write a song.
No both sucked hard!
pleximanic so does your mother!

Richie, muito gostosão e super competente no que faz. Ele e sua guitarra são 2 em 1
Awesome Richie !!
Sambora kills this jam. Saucy.
Don't like Bon Jovi music one bit. Too bad Sambora's playing is associated with Bon Jovi. I guess their personalities meshed.
Absolut AMAZING!!!👍👍🤗❣😇🙏
Where's Blackmore?..
I'm bowing down to the greatest guitarists of any generation ever!!!!!!

He'll I didn't think Richie could play I was wrong
He was a blues player before he got in Bon Jovi
@@gregvincenavarrete8916they are covering for him. Over rated. Bon Jovi guitarist.
Gotta say I like Richie, he makes me feel at home when he talks!
Ritchie Sambora playing socks I thought he was a good guitarist.

Un montón de resentidos comentando. La admiración entre ellos es mutua. Solo se divierten y disfrutan.
If this happened on '95, RS could impress LP also RS has that personality since the start of his career
Lovely persons.
set the groove baby!
that laugh lol, les paul is the real freddy krueger,
8:49 do I hear Galaga from Bandai Namko?
본조비는 늘 우리를 행복하게 해준다 I love u richie !
Some of Ritchie's best playing here. It seems he's gone a bit downhill since then.
Who is the cutie on the upright bass??❤️❤️
That is Nicky Parrott from Australia!
RICHIE IS BEAST!!!!
Fenomenal
I gotta start practicing again so that when I’m 93 I can be half as good as Les Paul.
I detest Bon Jovi but always enjoy Sambora outside that entity. Truly a great blues guitarist. It seems he would have been more suited for Aerosmith or Black Crowes or Skynyrd.

Les knew Richie was way better (sorry, but true)

I agree with you all, after all, both, late Les and Ritchie gave a great show, and both showed us the exquisite taste of a good blues.
Hahaha
Again ...it is always the simplest things that reveal the real thruth about this idolized Guitarists!
I only gave it a like due to Les Paul jamming.
This would have been interesting to have Ted Nugent jam with Led.

Achei bem fraquinho....
You DID run out of shit....I don't know why Les suffered these rocker puds.....
Sounds just like every other white guy with a soccer mom haircut and a Les Paul guitar.
Ted Talour no sorry. I’m sure you can go better.

Ok n
Nothing to see here.
Les is spoon feeding Sambora.
A bit of a jerk
We all knew you could do it Ritchie, so was it really nessesary to disrespeckt Les Paul by playing the shit of him?
TerSan Les Paul actually admired Richie. You could see it in the way he looked and just let him play.
Why is it disrespectful just doing your stuff??.....
