I'm pretty sure there are a good few pokemon that have water type as a secondary typing (one notable example from this gen being toxapex) but there are a lot of primary water types so the water clause still sounds like a cool idea

Might be kinda late but just a psa for this gen, hope this reaches you before next episode. The first encounter on the first route is always coded to be the same pokemon, so unless that is not the case do to the randomizer I think its fair to ignore that one in favor of the second one. Finally first route has 100% catch rate so here's to hopping you both get something insane. Also so exited for this series cause its like if rob went from the rival in past lockes to a companion.
