Glad watched your video again had my jb4 on ecu psi instead of boost and was only showing 11-12 psi then noticed your's was on boost not ecu psi switched it over now seeing 17-18 boost on map 2 good stuff !
That’s amazing to hear! Thanks for sharing man, this channel is made for the comment section, we can all help each other out here bro
@@twn2rbo Just subscribed ! keep video's coming just bought 2022 stinger gt2 about 2 weeks ago installed the jb4 package kit have ark downpipes coming next week.
@@TheStuffle69 very nice! Congrats, you have one beautiful interior my friend. I purchased the 2021 with no idea it was going to be changed until 3 months after I got it lol . I’m still happy, amazing car!
I think you'd really love the SXTH Element catch can setup. They have a dual can option but it doesn't seem to be needed in any capacity but the single does amazing. Keep it up man. Digging these videos even though I'm rolling in the G70 😉👍🏻
Heck yeah man! Thanks 🙏- g70s are sick too 💯
Excellent video. Would love to see the dragy 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs
You got it sir! Just give me a week or so.
Just did my first plug change. I ran 93 octane for about 15k miles. I did put E30 in there a 2-3 times for some pulls on Map5, which is insane btw, but i will say that running map2 on the daily pretty much scorched my Densos. I started getting stuttering/Misfire codes under boost...sure sign that your tips on your plugs are toast (widenend) causing blowout under heavy boost. That being said, these cars (I have the G70 AWD) are just amazing cars. I do want to caution about running map2+ daily though folks. Unless you are willing to drop new plugs every 15k, I would be a bit more careful than i was. I am likely going to drop mine to map1 for daily and using map2+ only for "racing". Even Map 1 pulls pretty hard :)
Couldn’t agree more! I’m expecting around 25k from my HKS plugs. That’s great advice BTW. I’m about 7k in on HKS and of course it’s all running great right now. But these higher maps will for sure wear the out quicker
I'm ok with swapping the HKS out every 25k or so. I can change the plugs in about 45 mins. 10 mins on driver side if even and 20 mins center passenger plug and 15 on rear.
I hate to admit your right, as I'm a map 2 guy. but I know you are, and I should do the same, ,
@@ricktaylor6015 I can't speak for other plugs, but the densos will not hold up. Mine were all badly worn...ie the gap had widened substantially due to the tip melting.
@@kurtbischoff8661 I had heard that, so I went with HKS .
I took the plunge and got water meth injection for my GT2. I already had BMS FMIC, HKS Plugs, JB4, K&N Intakes, Ark Grip Exhaust and Jun BL mid-pipes so meth was all I had left to do. It's crazy watching the intake temps go from 10 degrees above ambient down to like 30 below ambient WOT. On an 85 degree day WOT map 7 I've gotten the intake temps down to 55F. Only trouble is you need a lot of road cuz she gets up to speed real quick. Oh, and get some Velossatech LIT snorkels, they look totally badass and force more air into your intakes.
I'm looking at doing a TCU tune from LAP3 next but it's $1200 and the transmission may not last long running it. 0-60 times of 3.3 can be had with that upgrade though. The main advantage is it allows you to launch under boost without doing the BMS brake snip.
That’s awesome man! Nice setup. You are right on the wear and tear. I’m thinking of purchasing a second TCU and have that one tuned and keep the OE on a shelf. It wouldn’t be practical for a daily doing 0-60 and 1/4 times same as a super car, but would be fun to play! I’m looking forward to the colder temps coming here in IN. My future mods will be FMIC, Snorkels and WMI.
I’m going to work on some aesthetics next. Thanks for watching and sharing your build bro 🐝💨💨
@roninpainbringer stick around as I did find a AWD Dyno 30 mins from me. BurgerTuning website claims 150 wheel hp with the same mods (not including my car back exhaust) which would mean 450 wheel horsepower. That claim of course is map 4 with e30 mix. **transmission shifts just as strong as day 1. I just hit 8k miles and the mods started at 3k
Cant go wrong with Lap3 on TCU or ECU. All they do is KDM cars. And are very strong tunes and keep the reliability.
How much difference did the water/meth injection make ? and what brand setup did you go with ? plan on going with snow performance stage 2 in couple weeks just installed the afe chargepipes last weekend.
An AWD Stinger GT weighs about 4,000-4,100 pounds. The AWD GT2 is what weighs closer to 4,200 pounds.
I have the Fuel-It Ethanol sensor and 4.5 gallons will get you WAY over E30. If you add too much Ethanol without increasing boost dramatically the car will actually get slower. Try 3-3.5 gallons for Map 3.
4,023 lbs. I agree, I noticed map 4 @24lbs when using 4 gallons of e85 made an extreme difference - my biggest problem right now is the lag in first gear launch. There is about 1 second of dead time then is screams and doesn’t stop pulling. Any ideas here? I’m going to record my logs for the 1st time and send them to @burgertuning to dial it in. I know there are a lot of variables esp with climate etc.
@@twn2rbo yea, you really need to learn how to read the logs. They tell you everything. Try manually shifting at 4800, 5000, 5200, etc. That will keep boost up between shifts. The logs will tell you if there are timing pulls as well.
Do you need a fuel kit for E30 mix
@@lyfeofchevy just an ethanol vile test tube to see ethanol content on the E85 to know your mixture is on point with 91/93 + E85 blend.
There’s a few free apps to tell you what gas to mix with ethanol.
All I want is a 🤏 louder exhaust and intakes on my 2022 Gt1 awd stinger...i love it 😃
Get it baby! I’m use to Lexus, let me tell you, Kia did NOT f up!!!
Thank you!
THAT TURBO SOUND AT 3:18 😤🔥
It never gets old my bro!! 🐝🐝🐝
Where you at bro!!! I need more new videos 😭 just rewatching old ones lol , come back
Great video dude✌🏻
Thanks my bro! Yeah I need to reupload this with a different song, they hit me on a copyright!
I have a 2018 and it's rwd and that one is a blast to throw around
I bet! I could only imagine RWD and how easy it would get sideways lol
Hey man, finally got my JB4, Injen intakes with snorkels, catch can and Eibach sway bars. The car is running amazing. I also have the Bluetooth adn have barely ventured to the Map 1 as I get used to it. I have the RWD and its fast as shit. I wanted to ask you what the chirp is. It’s not the exhale of the turbos but a chirp..I heard it in your video and my car does it every so often. usually when hitting the throttle hard but it doesn’t always happen.
Thanks a bunch.
Yo man did you feel any difference after adding the Eibach sway bars? Did you do front and rear?
@@mtDNA_Refresh yea. The car handles much better now and doesn’t tip at all.
Did you have to add a fuel sensor, or does the stinger already have that ability? (for your ethanol percentage)
Wow! Your videos look amazing! Please keep them coming 😃😃👏🏼
Thank you mi amor 😊
Do you need the wastegate wires for this? It seems like you would, but it wasn't mentioned.
Cant wait! Btw, that firmware update (latest) what do you have your DWP set as for the lag fix?
So in the video I messed with it a little , I did 100 and only really noticed it durning normal driving . I put it back to 0 for now. I’m going to do some more research and trial and error, so stay tuned
@@twn2rbo Nice! I know 60-80 is the sweet spot
@@SSH939 oh yeah! I’ve noticed with the stock settings, 3rd gear start produces the most boost around that speed
I just bought my 2022 GT1 Ceramic Silver Stinger. I got mufflers deleted, and I have K&N intakes and blow off valves, also got velossa tech big mouth intakes. What else do you recommend performance wise
JB4, plugs, and either wmi or CPI! Then
What @jasonrust1 said below, some good plugs like the ones I mentioned in the videos and the JB4 with Bluetooth app. Honestly you don’t need anything else
yo cool videos everything you are doing to your stinger is the same as me and I a still learning how to use the JB4 ... I can't figure out the logs tho
I’m in the same boat, I haven’t logged yet. I am going to experiment with it though and make a video of how it works once I have a chance
Amazing Content! What’s the Name Of the song in the intro of this video!?!??🔥🔥🔥
Right on! It was a recommended song from EpidemicSound website. They do have a monthly fee. I use them to avoid copyright issues ©
Is there a way to turn of speed limiter or governor?
Yeah, but I has to be done through the ECU. A subscriber in Germany has a Lozic tune and sent me a vid going 180 on the Autobahn and said there was more left
@@twn2rbo so can I have the JB4 and lozic tune?
@@brandonkiagt8633 yeah, that’s my current setup. You can run the JB4 in map 0 to monitor the tune and record logs, or you can installed the EWGs and run map 6 with bits 0,5,6 enabled and adjust the ff adaptations etc for fine tuning
@@twn2rbo awesome sounds good. Thank you brother
Just curious what radar are using, and do you like it? I spotted it in your video I’ve been searching for a good one.
I did a TON of research and found the Uniden R3 is the best bang for the buck. The range on it is crazy, I’ve been warned like 2 miles in advance. My brother has the same one and he loves it too.
3 Sean's in the house lol..
While I agree a good radar Detector can be a great addition.
You have to consider what the cops use in your area. For example, here in the Atlanta area they use laser.
I do not know of anything that can help you. Once your laser Detector sounds an alarm, it's already over.
So I sold mine years ago. It had both radar and laser detection .
Great video! Where did you get stinger shirt?
I made it with all of my other merch, but I had to take the link down because the printing was hazy and off. I’m in the process of redesigning them though
@@twn2rbo Thank you.
On map 3 we’re you running e-30? When it says up to 30 percent mixtures does that mean you can still use 93 or no?
Yeah, map 3 I was running e30 mix. BurgerTuning stated that the reading is not accurate. It is reading it, but they advised you need to purchase their flex fuel kit to get an accurate reading of knowing the mix. I have done a lot of research and found that 4 - 4.5 gallons of e85 mixed with 93 octane until tank is full, is very close to e30. Not all fuel quality is equal, so that’s where the precision of the kit would come in handy.
Hey @TWN 2RBO any improvement with JB4 on revmatching when breaking(downshifting) in sport mode? I never had a automatic car, always a manual and jerkiness when breaking slightly is annoying when gear downshifts, looking for ways to get rid of it. Hoping JB4 might be it
I put the JB4 on around. 1k miles and I took it pretty easy on my car at first but I will say the downshifts are not jerky for me. I find myself downshifting often with the carbon fiber paddle shifters 😁 I daily e30 too
Sorry I am not quiet get, so DWP set to 90 or 60 get better result(feel) than 0, right? and it by EWG setting?
Great Viedo, just my bad engligh.
It can. It comes set to 0. 100 is maximum effect. Best results have been 60-80. It will help eliminate turbo lag. I notice more in normal driving. Thanks!! 🙏
@@twn2rbo TY! Really like the video! I will try this out now lol
@@rin05099 let me know how it goes, I’m still playing with it myself
Good content bud. I installed my jb4 last week and drove around for 2 days disappointed. I had no clue I had to download firmware for my stinger... Lol I was happily surprised when I figured it out. I have a quick question are you experiencing a ruff idle on cold starts? Soon as the car idles down its gone, but kind of bothers me.
I have the ADD W1 V3.3 catch can sitting on my desk, just need the time to install
Also are you running straight E85? I thought the stinger could only handle a E85 /93 octane mixture = E30... Due to fuel pump issues developing
I did that lag fix and it kept throwing a cel.
Interesting, which setting did you adjust to what value ?
@@twn2rbo default wastegate pos to 100
Just wondering, have you ever considered changing these heavy 19 inches for 18 inch rims? They are lighter and comfier = faster for longer.
I have, and you are right that would be a benefit as well. Less rotating mass
@@twn2rbo Absolutely!! For me, the basic laws of physics trumps the looks of 19 inch rims.
Imma roll the 19’s and work the motor to the safest point tell I can get a second engine to build.
I thought about seeing how much work it would take to put the GTR drivetrain in a rebuildable wrecked GT2 stinger and go kinda blasphemy.
I’m worried about voiding my warranty!?
🤣🤣🤣 well, we only live once. So far the Stingers seem to hold up pretty well from other modified owners. Of course, things are subject to break when we re engineer them
Can you run 93 only on map 3?
Just got this installed what else do I need done to the car to use the higher maps
I’m sure you have intakes or an exhaust right? If so you don’t need anything else to run map 3, just add 3.5 gallons of e85 and the rest 93. Map 1-2 don’t make a difference really, not in the seat like map 3-4 will.
@@twn2rbo Yes I do have a cat back valvetronic exhaust also a down pipe & high flow catalytic converters but no air intake yet, but as for the E85 we don't have that percentage of ethanol here in New Jersey
How much e85 are you adding to the 93 to run the map 3? Which hks plugs are best to run map 2?
I’m running 3.5 gallons of e85 with rest 93. HKS M45il drop in , do not adjust the gaps. Runs like a champ. I have a discount code for the plugs at KM Tuned
Do you need a fuel kit to run E???
@twn2rbo I have the same question
Awesome! How safe is that? i'm on map 4 with mixed fuel i believe i feel a difference from map 2
It’s definitely pushing the car to it’s limits and subject to breaking much faster , overall , from the message boards the Stinger is fairly reliable and the transmission is good for up to 700-800hp I’ve read. I do e30 once in awhile, but the difference is substantial and addictive because the other maps feel laggy in comparison.
With that said, things will break faster, but there are many variables in that statement 😃
@@twn2rbo I'll just tone it back down to map 3 with pure 93 or a mix again. I dont run it hard all the time, i drove back a hour this weekend on map 4 and mix. I got 28.6 mpgs to 32mpgs in smart mode
@@curtislaketek2952 nice! Yeah turbos are very efficient when you are on highway cruising . It’s amazing how great that MPG is when you think of all the power under your foot! Of course on the other end, the day I made this video my avg was 9.8 - 10.4 mpg 😂
Check out Torx motorsports in Auburn wa. For the catch cans.
Right on ! Yeah I like them, I watched a lot of their vids too 😃
@@twn2rbo
For sure ! Ya they have done some impressive things.
Did you end up leaving the EWD at 100 or 0
EWD? Remind me , did you mean DWP for LagFix? I left that at 70
Hey man! Not sure if I missed something but is the turbo lag setting/adjustment only if you’re running on 93 +? Or can this adjustment be made if you’re just using 91? Thanks!
Hey, are you talking about the LagFix update ?
@@twn2rbo yes!
Are you having any fuel pressure drop issues? I have a RWD GT1 and seem to get the fuel pressure drop at 21lbs boost
I haven’t had any, but I have heard this question before. I will share a lot of people have had some similar issues and resetting the ECU fixed quite a few. Same steps as when you installed it, lock the doors with the hatch up, place the key fob 15 feet away, wait 5 mins, disconnect the negative battery terminal, wait a couple mins and reconnect. There is a torque curve I’ve noticed on many dyno sheets and it does seem to drop off around 5k pretty significantly, but that’s obviously diff from fuel pressure drop. How are you monitoring it?
@@twn2rbo from
Jb4 logs, and also it’s actually triggering a safety on jb4 that will cut the throttle if it drops below 10.
@@hmtran3 how many miles are on the car? The fuel system is a weak link for the tune and I know I’m placing a lot strain on mine. I would try resetting it first before you dig in deeper
@@hmtran3 have you done a firmware update? If so I would do the “stable” one.
@@twn2rbo I’m at 15K miles now, and haven’t checked for updates in forever. I’ll try to see if there’s an update and do the reset steps you mentioned. Thanks!
Can I get more than 20 psi in map 2 or its impossible my max boost in map 2 is 17.7 but one of my friends he got 20.6 psi in map 2 I don't know if he did something in his car like pure turbos or custom mapping because he tell me its just normal to get more than 20 psi in map 2 😃
at 7:57 it is surging? Ihave the same sound and you fix that with bov? thanks for answer bro
It’s not surging, I was going to give it more gas and let off so you heard the pressure release to atmosphere
Brooo I just ordered my sparks with km tuned and they said they had the new supplier I wish I knew about the discount code 😂😅
Check out my vids man I just picked up a jb4 eibach sway bars and GFV BOV the sway bars make a humongous difference man not kidding.

You mean the DWP (LagFix) ?
@@twn2rbo yes
Thanks bro subscribed!
@@rane7189 thanks for the support! Yea, I only notice LagFix under regular driving. I did not notice any differences with the Dragy 0-60 pulls though. I also read that this is more of a normal driving up to 60-70% throttle where the car feels more responsive and has less lag. That has also been my experience and seems accurate so far.
Tork motor sports catch cans.
What kind of BOV you have i just got the 22 stinger GT1 a month ago. No mods yet
Congrats bro! No BOV, believe it or not, all that noise comes from the Injen Intakes. A couple other videos of mine have more intake sounds, even louder. I like the Injen, but honesty any intake system is going to sound loud, they are all similar. That’s what started my modding, I did that first.

Do you have the cpi kit?
Not yet, but I do see that being a major upgrade to the fuel system

@@damiencarapella5794 thanks man, you’re going to love those mods. Brake snip works wonders for good launches, but it is very hard on the trans so keep that in mind. You are AWD I assume?
Why does it not show 0-60?
Jb4 doesn’t have that feature, but I’m looking into getting the Dragy for the next videos , esp when I do some 0-60 videos in each map. It can be a little tricky to get the speedometer recorded , but I’m experimenting with it. I’m going to try some double sided Velcro on the bottom of the GoPro9 and place it right in front of the gauges and see if that helps.
U running wmi?
Not at the moment. But that is a major performance increase and helps keep the valves clean if it’s tuned properly, if not it will blow the engine.

TWN2RBO - I did register back when I put the intakes and exhaust on. It was really cold out and I kept going into limp mode, so I was asking every one and nobody could seem to explain it. Someone mentioned over-boosting and recommended the better plugs , so I did the plugs and it still would go limp from time to time, it wasn’t until I put the JB4 on the car started running better AND I haven’t seen limp mode yet with all my launches and pulls.
