It’s already starting for me. Surf curse always takes me back to my high school years. Which wasn’t thaaat long ago but it makes me remember 2016/2017 when I had different friends who have moved on

Im 28 been listening to this band for about 2,5 yrs now. Last couple of months has a peak in it. And yesterday just found out they are performing near to where i live.. in about two months on a freaking boat!!. Cant describe the euphoria.. also beginnen a band in a week based on surf curse. Its like everything is falling into place. Amazing feel. See you guys in Rotterdam!

why is the mixing here better than the album
OVXX cause they intent for it to sound the way it does on the album
probably because they mixed their first two albums by themselves and this was done in a professional studio
OVXX the first two albums are in mono, they’re barely even mixed too
The album is meant to have that nasty diy type music that I think sounds really cool with an awesome vibe. This would be a more traditional mix that sounds more professional, which sounds great too.

That’s a killer drum kit. No hi-hats, no rack toms, just a ride cymbal, a floor tom, a snare, and a bass. Doesn’t get more surfy than that.

It’s because the live performance has an impromptu jazz like spirit. It’s not jazz but the feeling provoked while playing music live. You receive that emotion differently than anyone else but in general it ROCKS!
I adore this band and I appreciate them even more because the lead singer is the drummer ❤

I had the luck of catching them play a show in Oct/Nov 2019 down in San Diego. So awesome to see them in person. I actually waited after the show and got their CD autographed. These guys are phenomenal.

Amazing mixing Audiotree!! Best quality performance I have ever seen of these guys.
Nick is a really brilliant writer. Surf Curse is fantastic and so is Current Joys. Saw him perform in Cleveland and got to shake his hand, super nice guy.
