I think the super Mario Bros movie in 1993 was a good excellent movie for its time. it's been criticized and spat upon and abused long enough. I think it was an excellent video game movie for its time and that was during the super Mario craze in America in 1993 anyway when it came to video games and Nintendo. And that will probably be the only time that we'll ever see a Mario movie in real life action. now we have the new super Mario Bros movie in 2023 and it's computer animation, and if there was ever a time to see super Mario in live action, the 1993 super Mario Bros movie was it.

This is better than the original. I'm not an expert on the genre of music, but it seams to more wholeheartedly embrace funk rather than trying to sound pop-rock for terrestrial radio consumption. The video more wholeheartedly embraces the silliness of the song and is much more creative with both its original and B-movie stock footage. The chick is genuinely hot and can really dance unlike the females from the original video. She also apparently does backing vocals.

This is not the original version. Niether is Queen latifas. It was written by Randy Jacobs, one of the main members of an 80's group called "Was (Was not)" who originally released it.
If I knew that the Goombas were capable of getting down like this, I wouldn't have smashed them when I played Super Mario Brothers. I would've gotten my groove on with them. But oh well, I didn't know...
