I am Syifa, an Indonesian female solo traveler, who started solo traveling in 2013. I enjoy budget traveling by staying with locals, motorbike riding but also like to explore local food.
After working for the government till 2016, I left Indonesia to pursue long-term traveling. As naive as I was, it only lasted me for 5 months throughout Asia. In January 2017 I moved to China for an English teaching job, which was considered to be my first living abroad experience. Stayed until May 2018, living in China has changed me, in a good way.
I love traveling and creating travel videos on TH-cam. It is such a rewarding work for me that I do wish this would last me for a while.

Nepali are friendly even in Middle East I encounter Nepali they are also friendly you will not afraid of them even the male are good. Unlike Indian that are rude.

Basu Dahal He was sending them away with blessings for safe journey, it’s a very common jesture in Nepal. When someone is leaving on long journeys, family members gather together and send them away with usually tika on the forehead and 💐.

Thanks to your video Syfia, I came to Pokhara as part of my visit and stayed at Bishnu’s homestay. It was amazing and akin to a hotel really but with a more personal touch. I hired a motorbike which made getting about easier, I ate mostly at the small local khaja ghars or chiya pasals and the food was amazing.
One day I followed the lake road west to his brothers village where there’s the temple on the hill and that suspension bridge. Went over to the Gurkha museum and camp and said hello and ate in Bagar as well.

I too visited Pokhara last year in December PPL there were very good that taxi driver which took us to the tourist place was very good he help me n my friend all through in our stay in Nepal he searched hotel for us also the hotel owner was very good he booked tickets for us back to India the people there stare us in good way not having any bad intention they are just excited to see new people n had no wrong intention even the boatman who rowed us on the lakeside was so good he kept on telling stories of his own I didn't want to leave that place will go soon again 😘
