I’ve been cloud gaming for a while. I don’t even own an Xbox anymore and I can play it just fine and one of the main games I play is fallout 76 and that’s a massively big game and when I can play it in perfect harmony with no slowdowns no lag no nothing Xbox game pass streaming is the best to me
@@josephgonzalez4417 I heard that the backbone works great on IOS. But the Cloud gaming service is still in Beta service. I think it is a nice addition to the game pass ultimate subscription which comes with it (for now). But I think they could make a standalone cloud service once it's reached its full potential and not in Beta anymore. Yet you always rely on internet.
For some reason I didn't even know this was a thing. I was just playing battlefield v multi-player and it's amazing. Considering of how new this is. It loaded games just as fast as my Xbox series s. It's crazy. Mind blown today!
I just recently tried xbox Cloud Gaming (today) again and man, it's night and day compared to the last time i tried it which was about 5 months ago. I play on my series X with an internet connection averaging about 70 mbps. I love the fact that i dont have to install anything no waiting and i dont have to eat up my hard drive space. It's not perfect by any means but i see the future in gaming.
I’ve got Xbox game pass installed on my Fire TV cube third generation with an Xbox series X controller connected to it plus, I got it on my phone too, and I got a controller. It snaps down into to turn it into a handheld
I don't know about everyone else, but the app works great for me. I'm able to play Halo Infinite multiple and go toe to toe with native console players. I have good internet and a backbone.
@@stennex it’s from PowerA the MOGA clip for Xbox controllers. Actually it was the cheapest one I could find (with good reviews). This one though is for the older shaped controllers like the elite one. For the Series controllers (the normal new ones) it is a little too tight. I’m a Mac user and I also got steam deck and switch but I love gaming Xbox cloud it’s so convenient! I actually finished several games on Xbox cloud lol. Hope one day we will get a better version of Xbox cloud

And I love the fact that they are rolling out mouse and keyboard support for some titles. Although I hope too that the version will improve someday. Especially input lag and bitrate is still an issue. But if it will improve, I am almost certain that they will increase the price, or give people a standalone option for cloud gaming. But it’s just a guess…

I am not familiar with your specific device but xbox cloud gaming doesn't need an extra console. Just like you said a good wifi. What you need in general for using xbox cloud gaming is an game pass ultimate subscription (and your handheld device). Since it is an android device like you mentioned they will have all the necessary apps in the store. I just checked and I saw videos on youtube from people using cloud gaming on this device. Cloud gaming has a specific selection of titles you can play from the xbox game pass. @@Asadc1995 stability is quite good even if it’s still in beta. But sometimes the input latency is a litte slow… you can tell especially in first person titles. I hope that changes once it out of beta. How is geforce now? And thanks for your comment 😊
@@AboutGamesSTV Several factors depends not just your own connection also from the server data center end. But ofc having a stable telefom provider. When we talk about mobile broadband too makes a huge difference in terms of 5G

I have a fire Tv and the app shows up but its unavailable to download, eventhough it was run Luna+ just fine, I wonder if eventually they will allow more devices to be compatible

@@Suave-3 if you play on a notebook like MacBook then you need to play through the browser. Just log into your account (I recommend chrome - is pretty fast) and play via the browser. On the phone on the other hand like iPhone you can download apps. But phone only. Let me know if it works 😊
Ive been using a firestick with a controller or my phone with a backbone and its pretty good! Playing master chief collection! Hopefully they stabilize it a bit better!
@@Kayshawns-World not necessarily. You can also just play on a laptop, phone for example. The firestick offers people with just a TV and controller to play via cloud. If you don’t have the console itself. But check which firestick you need. I am not sure but I think it has to be the newer version.
@0verkill3508 the video was tested on 5ghz on a 1gig line in the US. I tested in Germany too on a 250k line on 5ghz as well and there wasn’t any difference at all. Even if the general speed in Germany was significantly slower. Although I testet without wifi on 5G in both countries as well. Still the same and had input lag. So I think in general even if you have the newest router and the fastest wifi the beta version is input lag wise not quite there yet…

I know those sony fan boys are whining against microsoft. But i am pro towards there deal did go through succesful 2 years ago long battle in the european commision. Due to not everyone depending on their financial periods of their life can afford expensive pcs and consoles too for that matter
I was sat on my break playing Hellblade 2 on my phone....just think about that. Explain that to someone 10 years ago. It's not flawless. But it's good enough.

So I think that at some point it isn’t getting better regardless of the internet connection. I wonder if it will be gone once it’s out of beta service… But in the end only console or PC will give gamers the best experience.
@@AboutGamesSTV it’s gotta be a problem with their servers, gfn has no noticeable input lag, if Xbox cloud can minimize the server issues and input lag I’d seriously consider it a viable gaming option. But for now gfn is my go to.

Input lag won't help when your connected to your phone using Bluetooth. Have a plug in controller like the backbone

It's because you have an older version of the fire stick. I have the same problem. You have to have one from 2023 or later.

Xcloud is browser only on iPhone and you create a shortcut for your Home Screen. Once the shortcut is created it works just like an app.

could gaming has its place i was cloud gaming on a crappy apu pc system with no graphics card playing starfield so it has its place.
The latency is horrible still and even on a gigabit Ethernet connection
