I personally love Xiaojun's voice, you saw it in his participation in NCTU, something interesting to see is Xiaojun's Lee Mujin Service, Xiaojun and Renjun's collaboration - Unbreakable Love. Xiaojun's personality and his love for Bella is something that catches you along with his talent
Ten's "birthday" is legit one of the best things an SM artist has ever dropped, lol. If you haven't peeped it yet, you're missing out big time, it's mind-blowing. 🤣 Just so you know, Ten's vocal game is next level. He effortlessly hits those high and low notes like a boss, sounding straight up beautiful. That's why he's been holding it down as a main vocalist in WayV since 2021. At first, Xiaojun was the only main vocalist, but Kun and Ten were rockin' it as lead vocalists. Even though positions ain't the main vibe, some solo stans stay arguing about it, lol. But yo, they all sing like angels and dance like legends. That's what really matters.
the song at the end was "poppin' love", a b-side on their On My Youth album !! i highly recommend the title track "On My Youth" along with the rest of the songs on that album, it's just too good 🤍🌟 thank you for reacting to WayV
Xiaojun know a LOT of girl group choreo😂He said on a recent show that he films up to 7 dance challenges a day and just has to memorize them on the spot.
Yessss I clicked so fast! I'd love to see more WayV! On My Youth is one of my favourite albums from last year, I'd highly recommend. Their new Give Me That album is sooo good too (yay first win). Also Xiaojun has a Lee Mujin service, its incredible 💚 looking forward to your WayV journey!
They were promoted in a really weird way for awhile, it was kinda half China half Korea (there were a bunch of political issues, covid, scandal etc). They have a super dedicated Chinese fanbase that have supported them through thick and thin, and I’d say internationally they have a sizeable fanbase due to Love Talk, Nectar, Miracle and other hoe anthems. They have a big Japanese fanbase too! Most recent comeback Give Me That was full-blown Korean promotions and worked really well, they switched to Shinee’s production center and have been everywhere. tbh this guide isn’t the best, I’d recommend watching Buzzfeed’s interview and Idol24 to get to know them better
I'd DEFINITELY recommend checking out the (Un)Helpful Guide to WayV 2021 by Lao Gan Ma instead of this one. It's really well made and represents the members really well.
I know you love vacation variety shows but subbed Wayvision isn't available on TH-cam. However, Dream Plan is actually just as good if not better. It's not about travel but they do go to different places for different missions and it's really fun. You get to learn more about each member's personality and charm and see their bond as a team. Rainbow V is actually also a lot of fun cuz you get to learn about the members' creative process, how they work together and their results. Those two are my most recommended variety stuff. Also if you want funny stuff, their Kstar Next Door appearance was hilarious cuz the members are really witty and fun to be around. They guested there for their On My Youth promo last year and also recently for their Give Me That promos
I would like to add one thing to this guide. Ten's name is Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul. I was a little annoyed to see in the guide they had Ten Lee and the Tai writing for his name, but not the English spelling.
I personally do not like this guide. Too much text and not enough footage. Did not show their true talents and personalities. But well, still appreciate your reaction and interest in WayV. They are really talented and cute and funny.
actually wayv is a 7member group but lucas - ex member left because of a rumour going on he is a soloist now and tysm for reacting to wayv im so glad people are recognising wayv they seriously are the most underrated sub-unit and wayv are the most chaotic unit ever 🤣they just make me laugh until i cant breathe 🤣 and their emojis 🐻🐴🐑🦕🐥😺🦁
Not sure about that guide... but Kun-Xiaojun and Yangyang-Ten aren't official subunits. And the positions aren't very accurate either. But good try to the op 👏👏
2024 Guide Is WRONG KUN-Leader, Vocalist, TEN-Main Dancer, Vocalist XIAOJUN- the only MAIN vocalist! The positions are confirmed multiple time by the co & MANY times by the members in their intetviews
MAIN vocalist is literally the position for THE best vocal skills. That's why there's only ONE. Just like TEN is the Main dancer, XIAOJUN is the MAIN vocalist. The levels are NOT the same.
Thank you for your reaction and your interest on WayV🎉 But if you want to know/learn more about them you better checking out the (Un)Helpful Guide to WayV 2021 by Lao Gan Ma instead this one.
From what I've seen, I think WayV has a bigger pull in the international market compared to just a chinese one. China's music industry is a different animal and competitive within itself. I don't think SM Entertainment, being a Korean based company, has all the connections to properly market a Chinese group in China. And I think SM noticed that. Because with every comeback, it seems like they're promoting WayV more and more to the Korean and interntaional crowd. Like, this most recent album had multiple songs in Korean and they promoted more than one song on Korean music shows. Meanwhile you can't even get their first album anywhere since it was released in China. Frankly, I personally do think SM is better off promoting WayV in the Korean and international market since being part of NCT, they do have a fanbase for them and between the members, they can speak 6 languages fluently (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, English, Thai, German) so they can communicate with fans well globally. A lot of people will say this is due to SM being Xenophobic and intentionally sabotaging WayV. I personally don't think that's completely the case, because if it was, they wouldn't even spend the money to train, produce, and promote a Chinese based group at all. I do think WayV should get more opportunities and better treatment because I do think they don't get promoted as much as 127 or Dream. But I think there is a lot of outside factors (like the whole China/Korea tension) that made promoting WayV harder. It may be unpopular opinion, I feel like if you're going to make a guide for any group, you should at the very least name who the former members are. You're creating a guide for people to learn a group, whether you like them or not, the former was part of the group at one point and part of the group's history. So the guide intentionally not mentioning Lucas at all does irk me a bit. They could've very easily just said "Lucas, former member, left in 2023 due to allegations". Anyways, I'm glad you're finally looking into WayV more. They have great music and the guys are hilarious and entertaining (especially Hendery).
Xiaojun has a Lee Mujin service episode that is amazing!

As someone who ults WayV, BTS and ZB1 I’m super happy with how well you’ve been feeding us with reactions lately!!

Yes! I loved IDOL 24 too. They were so natural and charming.

yes! I completely agree. I still feel this is the best guide for WayV even if it's a bit old

I don’t follow the group regularly but I really respect wayv, they’re very talented and I also enjoying their songs

Thank you for saying his name Lucas 🥹 I am not his fans but he is not a voldemort or something, he has a name.
