Le Cirque was an absolutely iconic restaurant, crucial to the history of New York City dining, and sadly a lot of the newer generation doesn't even know about it. That's how it goes though. Movies can be watched over and over again. Ditto for albums. Paintings and other works of art hang in galleries and museums. But restaurants? When they're gone, they're truly gone. And in a New York minute, theyre usually quickly forgotten. Enjoy the beauty while you can, because it won't be around forever.
