we should have more fannies in the world... not because we need prim and proper gentle ladies, but we need the wiser ones, the ones who trully believe that we can never change a man or anybody but ourselves
I could never really like Edmund, even in the books. Lol. He always frustrated me. Henry, I wish could have been the man he seemed to want to be, but it could have also ended badly if he truly couldn't change his character for Fanny. In the end we have a happy ending.
People are stupid. They said the actors from the 1983 version were ugly and that Fanny had such beautiful blue eyes! This Fanny is even prettier than her. Anyone who thinks Billie is ugly is clearly blind.
Trying means nothing if it's because he thinks he's going get something for it. He only wants to "win" her, not be a good person. That would make for a terrible marriage!
No, Fanny cannot like Mr. Crawford. He is a cheat and she is too wise not to notice! She watched him playing around with both sisters and then easily moved on to her. I wish most of us women were like her careful, watchful, and wise. Besides, she knows what she wants in a man; she's already seen what a man aught to be like: her cousin!!
Well said. Fanny is deeply and faithfully in love with Edmund - as she made it subtly clear, even if Henry Crawford's character had genuinely changed. Either way, Henry would have never been able to win Fanny's heart as Edmund did.
Fanny shows the maturity the other Austenian heroine lacked when she fell back to Brandon when the real love of her life left. Fanny remained consistently in love with Edmund. Crawford even surpasses Brandon because he finally got his reality check and moved on.
Fanny is so sweet and Edmund such an idiot lol in the books he always unburdens himself and talks to Fanny, he can’t write to Mary but he can to Fanny, she’s his person in the end but I really feel that she deserved better than either of them (Edmund or Henry) also I think that it’s a shame this adaption alters so much I feel we really miss things from the missing visit to Portsmouth etc
'i can't guide you, we all have our best guides within us, if only we would listen'
shit me, life's new mantra - kudos to austen

"Next time Pug has a litter, I shall give her one of the puppies!" Joy unspeakable!
don't understand why we have some idiots saying the girl playing Fanny is ugly...its her acting tat was perfect and tats all tat should matter...

I love Fanny. She is such a genuinely good person!
I may be the only one who thinks this...but I wish Fanny would give Mr. Crawford a chance. He's trying so hard to be the man he thinks that she wants!
Exactly! He's only trying to be that to get her to like him. He sees no point to virtue or constancy for their own sake.
Trying means nothing if it's because he thinks he's going get something for it. He only wants to "win" her, not be a good person. That would make for a terrible marriage!
Give a chance to a narc, such terrible advice😂
I think Fanny was brave and courageous to refuse that guy.
Those puggy noises are SO CUTE. :3

A pug named "PUG": How original. Yeesh....
Stupid, beautiful Edmund. Just love Fanny, for heavens sake!
Poor Fanny.
FRIENDZONE: Making ladies unhappy since Austen's time :( Hang in there Fanny!
your comment...it's beautiful.
Why the pink lipstick and the 21st century hairstyle?
They were obviously trying to copy the 2005 Pride and Prejudice where Elizabeth had her hair down for a lot of the film.
I'm looking for my last name and found this:p
i think fanny's beautiful here. dont judge someone by its appearance. it matters in your heart, not the appearance
Sometimes the heart doesn’t matter, either.
I LOVE FANNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a ten year old pug... that sleeps all day.... having puppies?!?!? I just feel like slaping all of them with the dog!
Fanny is the most beautiful are people blind lol
Mr. Crawford >>>>>>>> Edmund
men...that's all i can say
edmund is soooooo unlikeable. is it just me?
You and others. But you're wrong. He's a great character. My personal favorite Austen hero. Much more appealing than Darcy in my opinion.
