That's hilarious, the pilot closed the canopy exactly when the canopy would actually be open. They left it open to stop it fogging up, so in normal flight it'd be fine, but in a dive it'd be open, so they literally had it inverted, great job.
Vanguard feel like a f**k up a mistake it's a game that simply shouldn't exist they should have had release Cold war This year and focus on mw for another year. The worst selling cod of all time Zombies= garbage they said"what do player like about zombies let's f**k them over and release this 10$ steam game. Campaign I know 89% of people don't care about the campaign but if they will include at least make it good I liked mw and Cold war but this feels like a let down this game shouldn't exist.
I know I'm really late to this video, but reloading the American flame thrower is a thing. The cone at the front of the weapon holds cartridges that ignite for a few seconds at a time. You only have a few "shots" before they have to be replaced. It would have been cool if they included an animation for it.
The midway mission is why I stopped playing vanguard. Now watching you play it makes me feel better knowing that it wasn’t just me who struggled. Either way great video, love watching it.

I thought this was the weakest of the 3 "modern" COD campaigns, MW, Cold War, and Vanguard. It's still a fine campaign, I just think Cold War's campaign was so good that my expectations were a little high.
I think otherwise, personally I never really liked the BO storyline and CW didn’t do it for me either, it could be because I knew where the story was headed before it happened, but also it’s not like the story could really go anywhere with it being a prequel/sequel.

And the target of a relentless bombing campaign from 1943 on that killed 60,000 civilians. I know it's "just a game" but the disregard and cool sounding nonchalance with which the dialogue is written (speaking for historical fps games in general here) does a major disservice to actual history and the sacrifices made and suffered.
I quite enjoyed my play through of this. Love Arthur and Richard too, but that could be my Brit bias showing, love anything to do with British Special Forces.
i really liked the arthur and lucas missions as well as the second polina mission. sad that vanguard didn't sell well, i wouldn't mind a full sequel campaign with this crew because this felt like an introduction to the characters more than anything.

It symbolised the overall campaign gameplay. We'll give you two sticks and full directional control but no true freedom because that would require actual playtesting and debugging. Even in MP you can tell Activision drastically cut the budget for this.
That D-Day mission was actually so sick. A proper WWII game with these visuals would be soooo cool... this game is just too far fetched for me to really be immersed in it.
Apart of me would have loved if they went back to the old school one man army campaign, like Novak isn’t dead, comes and saves the day and them. It’s a game it doesn’t have to be historically accurate, let me go balls to the wall in a over the top exaggerated campaign.
I levels were all pretty even (30-40ish), with the music and dialogue being just a bit higher. I manually balance audio though to make dialogue / game sound more audible whenever I'm not talking
The only main character I like ngl is Polina, because you get into her head most. Plus Luara Bailey is awsome as always. The Midway mission flying the SBD, was terrible especially after how IW's Jackals were so much better to fly. Other then that I thought they would pull anthor Bell, but nope Novaik is even less of a Pvt Allen. PS: I'm glad they took risks with some of these missions, but dam they like their stealth missions. And the AI on regular really like their grenades. Update: I actually quite like this campaign now despite its very obvious flaws. Especially after the major disappointment that was MWII's campaign.
That's what Vanguard and other recent cod games look like when you boot them up now, they sorta advertise Warzone / other recent titles. Sadly no, the recent cod games are all on Blizzard's Battlenet launcher. You sure you want to get into it? A lot of people unhappy with cod right now lol :)

I did like the missions but they were too short and wrote badly they could have been great if they used historically accurate weapons and etc but they rushed it
I wish there were a crazy funny challenge like that, but I could still take a fair amount of damage, I'd guess the difficulties aren't actually very different.
I remember last year at least, I went back on recruit for some of cold war's challenges expecting to walk past everything, and was surprised to still be dying lol
To be fair, they also do Midway and Tobruk, so they're not just exclusively gunning for the Germans. Yes, the Germans are the baddies most of the time (and the entire continent of Asia is straight-up missing), but it's still one of the best WW2 FPS for showing the whole war... which, if we're being honest, reflects more on how generic WW2 FPS games are than on how good the story is.
