    this was so helpful. my bird' eye view attempt always look like a person got ran over by a truck, this one ended up turning pretty decent. :D

      haha same! It's difficult because you don't see stuff like this often in your everyday life. I practice drawing birds-eye views at different angles and it's really helping to understand the shapes

    This channel is so underrrated. You deserve more followers. What made this vid especially great for me is when you put the figure in a box AND THEN DIVIDE IT as landmarks to draw where each body part is located! Holy shit, that clicks for me hard. I’ve seen other people put a figure in a box but they didn’t do it like this

    • @megamaster0
      @megamaster0  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I'm glad it clicked for you. I'm just trying to show stuff that actually works for me as I'm drawing and coming up with my own poses and characters. You might find some of Andrew Loomis books to be helpful (you can probably find some pdf's online)

    OMG! The box/rectangle around the body is such a good way of doing it! I never thought of it that way! Thanks for sharing that poser website! I've been trying to shake things up and draw from a few different angles :3 That'll be helpful.

    This "box" trick is only usefull for characters that are standing? can it also be usefull for other poses like for example when Spiderman sits on the ground?

    • @megamaster0
      @megamaster0  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can still use a box as a guide. Especially for the torso and the head. However, when body parts are pointing in different directions you need to think a little more intuitively. Ask yourself whether that limb is pointing toward you, away from you, etc. I'll try to explain this concept in a future video because that's a great question to ask an answer

      @@megamaster0 thank you what angle do 1 2 3 perspective do in your character ? I mean for example what 2 point perspective do in you characterwhat angle? And what 1 point perspective do in your character what angle can it express can you tell me?! Please I'm stuck in one problem it will really help please tell me 1 to 3 please!!!! I already know that 3 point perspective gives you high or low angle right? Please explain what angle can 123 perspective express in my character!!!! Please I'm stuck bro!

    • @megamaster0
      @megamaster0  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jeffreyaguilar224 I'll try to answer the best I can! Basically, 1 pt perspective is used if you are looking at a character straight on (like if you were about to give them a handshake). 2 pt perspective is if you stepped to either side and turned to look at that same person. 3 pt perspective is if you decided to lay on the ground and then look up at the person.
      I hope that helps! A helpful exercise is to take a camera and take pictures at different angles and then try to make a box in 3d perspective that captures the person. You will learn very quickly
      I also have a video that briefly explains the different kinds of perspective

    Ok so I’m confused. So when I draw a box in 3 pt, the top of the box goes to 2 oppositional vanishing pts. Your top is like going to one vanishing pt and it’s really throwing me off, am I overthinking this? Your tutorial is probably the best I’ve found but I’m still really confused :/

    • @megamaster0
      @megamaster0  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't worry! Perspective gets really confusing at times and I know what you're struggling with. The first demo I give is actually only 2 pt perspective. The reason for that is because the box is not rotated to the left or right. We are viewing this box head on but from above. When the box is rotated for the other examples you will see that all 3 vanishing points need to be used. I hope that helps!

    • @s1r3nsong
      @s1r3nsong 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@megamaster0 ohhhh ok! I understand now, your vanishing points are just above and below here rather than on a horizon line persay. That makes sense, thanks for the reply!
