For all of you who do not believe that Tadej is clean, I will tell you a story from his childhood, when he started cycling. It was a boys' U15 race (3km round for 4 times) and that's when his future coach came to the race. As he watched the young upstarts, he saw a small, thin boy who was 2 years younger than his competitors riding alone behind the peloton. At that time he said to the other coaches: "Let's stop the group for a bit, so that boy will catch them, so that he won't lose his will to race the bike." And they answered him: "No, no, this boy is chasing the group (peloton) for one lap!" That small thin boy was Tadej Pogačar ...
that was the tell exactly entire race too he is such a natural, VDP has those race intincts hes won me over :) hes incredible, and not to get geeky but Tadej beat jonas in GC an PN and 3 stages, VDP and WVA at flanders, now beating best puncheurs ar ardennes all in same season we haent even had a GT supposed specialty safe to say never seen his likeness personally. I know even merckx never won PN,flanders, amstel in one season and he animated MSR, and E3. special I saw 89 lemond beat fignon still sentimental favorite race and sean kelly/fabian were favorites but its like watching gilbert, valverde, contador skillsets all in one. Hes really laying groundwork for other GC riders despite era of specialization who are all rounders their advantage is they carry speed from base of mountain to top better than rest :) no secret so in these attritional races monuments like liege or long one days like amstel watch how UAE have literally led out tadej as if a sprint into base of important climbs and he rides the off wheel. Before it was just positioning now they are lined out worlds gilbert won was similar but still not near as cohesive Flanders with bjerg and oliveira made it clear and its worked all season. Think it will be trend for guys like powless, remco roglic, jonas should he decide to try say fleche.
@@chrisjie2127 thanks for saying that absolutely that's been key difference you can tell he worked on it hard knowing how he'd have to climb kwaremont...but you saw it help his seated power in rut del sol and PN attacking seated keeping low heart rate and lactate and inward hoods making shoulders more aero. 100%

Usually guys stand shake out lactate he stayed seated until bardet went inside 300 meters he then seats briefly again im sure he shifted gears there if thats what you mean because bardet is way overgeared goes backward. Ive never seen mur raced like that but he obviously in preparation for flanders changed posture and turned hoods in aero to help solo...just lookback at PN he dropped jonas seated its something that was meant for flanders that has lifted his entire race skillset. hes beat best GC, best roulerus,now best pucheurs. Dont think he'll ever win scheldiprijs :) all in one season hes got everything!
Different level than this field for sure, Valverde&Alaphilippe won this stage 8 times together. Both men aren't in their prime or were there at all. Also Roglic wasn't there and neither last year's winner Teuns. MvdP I think is the best at these kind of punchy finishes and wasn't there either. (La Fleche&LBL ardenais just isn't his route) Wouldn't be surprised if Pogacar adds La Fleche before going to LBL. (As of now not scheduled) And goes on to win it again. He's made for this.

Nothing mysterious about Denmark performing well in cycling since perhaps apart from the Netherlands they’re the nation with the most cycles per citizen world wide and a solid 120+ years of cycle sports culture.
Now everybody should know that Tadej has a special genetic in his metabolic.....not beatable by normal training, like playing against a basketball-player with 2,50m..

His aggressive downward saddle angle and forward saddle position are ideal for climbing. There's a video on youtube analysing it. Worth a watch.
