So I just watched this for the 7th time in a row and a half an hour flew by. I'd just like to say, no matter where I go with music or if I do... You, Casper are one of my biggest influences. I think I speak for all your subscribers by saying your ability to craft music is spellbinding. Please never stop playing, I know I'm not the only one inspired by you... Oh and P.S. What cable are you using on your Cort? I've seen those around and I've liked them a lot but I never knew what they were called
@Max37814 I'm glad you like my tone :) I plug my guitar straight into a mixing board that sends the signal to my computer. From there I create my tone with POD Farm from Line 6 and a little bit of mixing and mastering in GarageBand.
Okay...so I've been watching your videos for the past 30 minutes, and you are so great at playing these song covers...but this....this is what made me fall in love. You sir, have just earned yourself another subscriber.
It's funny. This sounds more like 2 Sonic stages rather than Mario stages. Either way, great job! I wish you went an octave higher the second time around, though. That would have sounded so epic it would have gave me goosebumps.
@CSGuitar89 Thanks, nice to hear from you! I connect it to my mac with a USB cable, then I use the software EOS Utility to record my camera in live view, so I can actually see the camera view on my screen when I'm playing. It's really helpful if you want some nice angles. About the focus: you can control it by yourself in the software, you just have to press a button to get automatic focus. Hope it helped you!
CSguitar89 YOU ROCK! I watches all of your videos, many many times. You are such a spectacular writer! You never cease to impress me, and you really did it hear. Cant wait for more, and Banjo Tooie covers would be soooo awsome!
@interviewproject1 I got my blue Squier electric guitar, which was my very first instrument, when I was 14 years old. I hadn't played any other instrument before that.
LOVE the tone coming in at 2:12 ! This song definitely has this sort of magical, nostalgic, sweetness to it and that tone just really makes all that shine. Thanks for putting this together and uploading. Made my day! :) P.S. been thinking about it and this song played this way reminds me of T-Square's Omens of Love, esp when the guitar starts to solo
@FamilyJules7X Haha, wow thanks man I'm really glad you like it and that we influence and inspire each other :) I'm using very simple Planet Waves cables for all my guitars. They are cheap, deliver a clean and clear signal and seem to be very durable.
That was awesome!!! I was hoping to finish mine first, but I had to go out of town for Thanksgiving. I did mine a little differently, for example, I'm doing classical guitar for the horns part before the main theme of the song... maybe you know what part im trying to tell you about. I'll try and have mine out soon! I can't wait for you too hear it!
@CSGuitar89 I know, you can't film straight from the camera with the 450d. But, you can use a software called EOS Movie Record. It allows older cameras than 500d to record in HD. Very cool software!
Your covers are always my favourite. You always seem to perfect the songs you play while most covers are a bit rough around the edges. Keep up the good work!
Hey there man, you seriously have a talent. Your really high up in the ranks in guitarists on TH-cam in my books. Really up there, right with guys like Gustavo Guerra and MattRach. Make more videos like this, and trust me. You WILL be discovered.
@hanako7621 I believe I paid about €450 for my Cort. As far as I'm concerned only starterpacks come with a guitar, amp and accessories, so I bought everything separately.
Nintendo has made a great set of music for SMG2 and this guy just amps the greatness even more...Nintendo needs to contact you about composing the next game or making a guitar album version of each track
@jacob0876 Do you mean that if you start to play bass, your playing style on the guitar changes? Well, I started to think a little bit more rhythmical and it broadened my view on what you can do with both instruments but other than that I haven't noticed any significant changes to be honest...
@shelbychrome Yeah definitely, I'd really like to do that. The problem is though that iMovie HD hasn't got any split screen effects. iMovie '09 does, but it's just terrible to work vids with and syncing audio with video is an absolute nightmare. Also '09 doesn't support 1080p. So my only option is to get Final Cut, but I'd have to learn to work with it first before I can make my TH-cam videos with it. I'll try though ;)
@spritekingdom2 I'm not really familiar with the song, but I'll definitely check it out and see if I can find the time to make a cover :) Thanks for your request!
@XaleManix Thanks a lot! Well, I'm kinda doing video game music exclusively at the moment, but maybe in the future I'll do some 'regular' songs. I'll keep it in mind, thanks!
@Wachetpower Wow, thanks a lot :) I'm not really familiar with that game to be honest, but I'll make sure to check out the soundtrack to see if there are some cool songs that I could cover.
@LiamMacL45 Thanks! I really like my Cort and I think it offers both exceptional sound and build-quality at a really affordable price. I would pretty much recommend it to anyone looking for a great and versatile guitar for rock-orientated styles of music.
@ThePlaythroughPlayer No problem at all! If you could give me credit for arranging the song in the description or something, I would greatly appreciate it ;) Thanks!
@geometrololi Thanks a lot man :) I'm definitely going to do more Pokémon songs, but I haven't decided which yet so I'll keep the ones you suggested in mind!
@carjomaha Thanks! Well, I'm not recording the audio with the camera or any mics at all. I plug my guitar directly into a mixing board so I don't have any problems with distortion or feedback since I can keep the volume fairly low.
brilliant cover you really do deserve more subscribers cause your work is awsome all your videos are awsome and you are probably my favorite guitarist on youtube
@FamilyJules7X Well said, and after watching your version of Click Clock Wood and other medleys, I'd like to say this: Don't shortchange yourself! Every video I've found by you so far always has a fresh breath of energy to it! They're simply awesome like Jasper's videos. So thank you both for such great musicians and clearly devout gamers :)
@TheMrmanyo Hey! Yeah, there are a lot of good video editing programs for non-Mac computers like Sony Vegas, or more professional like Adobe Premiere. The last one has way more features than iMovie though...
@LennartAlsing Thanks a lot man! Your covers are amazing by the way, really great sound and fantastic playing. Your videos look great too :) How do you film yourself with the 500d (focus, see what you're recording)? I really want to film with a DSLR too you know ;)
@TheMaryam23 Hey! Most compositions from Mario Galaxy are actually pretty complex but I think Good Egg Galaxy is a good way to start. I have tabs available on my website if you are interested :)
If you use an amp, you should already have a clean channel, if you use pod farm you can use a eq+booster pedal with the piezacoustic amp and some reverb :)
god... this is amazing... it was almost godly but i was just expecting that last increase in octave for the grand finale to take me there, but it never came... :/ you are awesome regardless

Such an amazing tone from such a cheap guitar? It's not stock, right?
Thank you! As a matter of fact, all of my guitars except for the Ibanez RG 7420, are completely stock.
1:41 is outstanding
@Max37814 I'm glad you like my tone :) I plug my guitar straight into a mixing board that sends the signal to my computer. From there I create my tone with POD Farm from Line 6 and a little bit of mixing and mastering in GarageBand.
This is freakin amazing.
A great watch after Rosalina's inclusion in Smash!

@Vassy97 POD Farm is indeed a plugin that works either as AU, RTAS or VST.
@interviewproject1 I got my blue Squier electric guitar, which was my very first instrument, when I was 14 years old. I hadn't played any other instrument before that.

This is absolutely one of the greatest covers of this song, thanks for doing it justice! Rock on! ✌️

My dad has been playing guitar for over 50 years and he still can't play a fourth as good as you. Great job dude!
Your really good! It sound just like the "White feather in the storm" but not as loud. I like it!
Thanks for giving Chuggaa permission to use your covers. It's a GREAT combination.
@hanako7621 I believe I paid about €450 for my Cort. As far as I'm concerned only starterpacks come with a guitar, amp and accessories, so I bought everything separately.
3:28 simply amazing
SO MANY COOL STUFF OF HIM IN RELATED. CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO WATCH FIRST!!

@spritekingdom2 I'm not really familiar with the song, but I'll definitely check it out and see if I can find the time to make a cover :) Thanks for your request!
@hanako7621 I just use standard tuning. The strings in the tab go from high to low ;)
@frankieanime Yeah, I'm still really impressed with the Cort too :) I have the stock EMG HZ's indeed.
@XaleManix Thanks a lot! Well, I'm kinda doing video game music exclusively at the moment, but maybe in the future I'll do some 'regular' songs. I'll keep it in mind, thanks!
God this is soooooooooooooooooo much better than the original version. Keep up the good work!!
dude these guitar revamps are siiiiick!! Can I make a request for Melty Molten Galaxy? Cuz I'd love to hear that vamped!
Just now discovering the greatness of this song and others from the galaxy game! You are crushing it bro!
@zombiestorys I don't think so, they should just be regular MP3s. I do export and convert with iTunes, but it shouldn't be a problem...
@Wachetpower Wow, thanks a lot :) I'm not really familiar with that game to be honest, but I'll make sure to check out the soundtrack to see if there are some cool songs that I could cover.
I really really love the Intro's music!

@LiamMacL45 Thanks! I really like my Cort and I think it offers both exceptional sound and build-quality at a really affordable price. I would pretty much recommend it to anyone looking for a great and versatile guitar for rock-orientated styles of music.
@PspReqium I always import the audio track in my video editor first and then cut the beginning and end of each 'scene' to match the audio.
@ThePlaythroughPlayer No problem at all! If you could give me credit for arranging the song in the description or something, I would greatly appreciate it ;) Thanks!
That is a Cort KX5 you're playing isn't it? It's a lush looking guitar, I want it!

This tune had better be in Super Smash Bros. 4. Excellent job, CSG.
brilliant cover you really do deserve more subscribers cause your work is awsome all your videos are awsome and you are probably my favorite guitarist on youtube
You just keep on getting better!! Also, would it be possible for you to do Sky Station Galaxy's theme??

@FamilyJules7X
Well said, and after watching your version of Click Clock Wood and other medleys, I'd like to say this: Don't shortchange yourself! @BlondishTony Thanks man :) It's an original piece that I wrote for this intro.
this and the song of storms are your best! keep doing 'em!
Love this song, and it sounds awesome when you play it. Keep up this awesome work!!!
@TheMrmanyo Hey! Yeah, there are a lot of good video editing programs for non-Mac computers like Sony Vegas, or more professional like Adobe Premiere. The last one has way more features than iMovie though...

@sillyboyization Apple's GarageBand actually ;)
Not more views than 19 thousand? This should have at least one million!!!
@TheMaryam23 Hey! Most compositions from Mario Galaxy are actually pretty complex but I think Good Egg Galaxy is a good way to start. I have tabs available on my website if you are interested :)
Dang nice bass i want like that
If you use an amp, you should already have a clean channel, if you use pod farm you can use a eq+booster pedal with the piezacoustic amp and some reverb :)
god... this is amazing... it was almost godly but i was just expecting that last increase in octave for the grand finale to take me there, but it never came... :/ you are awesome regardless
@hanako7621 You have it reversed. I believe the 1st string is High E then 2nd is B, 3rd is G, and so on.
Look there are no suggesetd videos! That means nothing can relate to the EPICNESS!
