@@dyrbur Actually, I did some investigating on Jhuds socials and they were quite close during this time. She has a video of them dancing together at a party she threw for the cast and a video of her going to see the show a few months after she left. She visits them backstage and Cynthia comes in crying and they share a sweet hug. She posted on twitter that Cynthia had came to see her in late 2016. There is also a video of her with her hairstylist getting ready for some show in 2017 and Cynthia is there with her. Whatever happened between them is deeper than what meets the eye because Cynthia was giving obsessed stalker during JHuds Aretha promo.
@@nottoomuch87 I think the Aretha thing drove them apart. They looked like genuine friends and you already know what happens when the industry drives two women apart. It’s a shame cuz the Aretha thing didn’t have to be as messy as it was. One was a show and the other a movie.
@@keannahmoore I think JHud cut ties with Cynthia way before the whole Aretha thing and Cynthia became resentful. I am convinced that she took on the Aretha role out of spite and to one-up Jhud. JHud knew this which is why she made the comments she did about the show.

She sang Aretha’s song on the red carpet, someone from the show saw it, and they sent her the script for the show which was already in existence. Basically, you can say the same thing for whoever took the role that they were trying to upstage Jennifer, which I don’t believe to be true. I think people made it a competition when it didn’t need to be. Cynthia even said she was excited to hear Aretha from Jennifer and that it was great that both were nominated for SAG awards and they were nominated in two different categories so competition and comparisons weren’t necessary at all.
Cynthia’s crystal clear soothing voice. oooh Lord! The control is amazing. You know she has the pipes but she does not go into over drive all the time. Hers is my favorite voice today.

JHuds voice is just sooo powerful. She's not trying to overpower, her voice is just naturally loud. God blessed her with vibranium lungs lol.
