I’ve been having so much fun with him. I have Kinich and Xilonen, so I thought his high jump won’t be much use. I was wrong though. I’ve had so much fun exploring with those three and Dehya and his damage is great! I ended up getting c4 Lyney while getting Ororon to c4 (win win for me, I don’t like Chasca), and am happy with what I see.
I told my daughter that I would help her build her characters so she can concentrate on homework during the week. Of course she goes and pulls Ororon and Chaska with her first 10 pull after the patch. Now I need her to unlock her map and trigger any open world quests so I can gather their resources.

I know Neuvi didn't need the buff, but I switched from the hyperbloom team I normally use for him to Ororon electrocharged just to see how it felt and when I finished Abyss it felt like I was cheating xD I will be trying him with Ayato next :3c
I was gonna skip Chasca to save for Mavuika but I just couldn't 🥲 I wanted Ororon and now I got him (and guaranteed Mavuika).... He hasn't left my team because I love exploring with his jumping ability.
I wanted to say, at 0:45 you said that Obsidian Codex is best for personal damage as if it's a viable set for him, but I would like to emphasize that the artifact does state that it only activates onfield, and for Ororon's kit, that's a major dps loss in general to fit him into teams like that. Even if he does gain 40% crit rate, it will only last for 6 seconds too. So I'd say Obsidian Codex is not even a viable consideration for him.

I got Ororon C6 because I loved his look, and wanted him for a team with Nuevy (who I am gonna have to drop some major funds on to get C6 on this next banner 😢)... but until I get the team captain I wanted to pair with ororon, I just threw him on my existing team with Kinich, benny, and xingqiu (mostly to aid with land traversal), but Ororon is actually an amazing fit on the team! Kinich's nightsoul happens so often that ororon always has his own nightsoul active and thus leading to a surprising amount of added damage! (not that kinich needs any help with damage, kinich and benny carried me through the Abyss like it was nothing! my benny is build as a pure defense build because he is equipped with Peak Patrol Song, so with his Burst and 4 normal attacks, he boosts kinich up enough that he hits for 650k per nightsoul cannon shot thing, which happens about 4-5 times per nightsoul activation (vs a target affected by pyro) AND Kinich's C6 ability almost doubles my damage output, so when he is hitting for 2-3 million damage every 15 seconds, not much manages to remain alive for long lol)
Got C1 in 20 pulls :) with an extra Fav Bow on the 30th. Saving for Neuvillette cause I'm a new player down bad for good DPS. I needed him because i want to proc CC for Kinich and i find that you can "double swirl" using Kinich and Ororon without Ororon ever coming into the field (because of his A1 passive). Such a cool character!
I'm one of the few players who does not like Neuvillette. I'd prefer Chaska if I could trade him. They say he takes no skill, but without his C1 or a good shielder, I tend to get knocked out of his charged attack in every Abyss. I should be going for his C1 or Zongli in his banner, but I need to save for Mauvika.
Got his C4 while going for C2 Chasca....only C4 Since I want to run Furina and Xilonen with them and Xilo is on Cinder City and it is easy for her to buff both elements, I will give him Elegy and put him on TF, good 2p bonus, buffs EC reaction and he can spam his skill for more energy I also have a pretty cracked TF set while my best Codex pieces are on Chasca Just need the stupid flowers to level him up...
Maybe next time, Emo Boi. With Mauvika on the way, I gotta save save save. Although a long Genshin break is in my future. Monster Hunter Wilds comes out at the end of February and I'll be focused on that. But gives me a few months to see what happens with Natlan. for weapons. just give him the fav. you need his burst to be always ready. the burst can fully use the 40% bonus of the cinder set. if you rely on his skill only, there's a chance you wont get the whole buff.

I pulled on Chasca hoping to get him (I'll get Chasca on a rerun), and somehow pulled him/Sucrose/Barbara all at once in the first ten. I literally couldn't have gotten a better pull XD
For various reasons: 1. Elemental mastery doesn't increase his personal damage. 2. You can't guarantee Ororon triggering most electro charged. 3. The weapon's passive can't increase his A1 damage.
I'll just scratch that WRONG, not because he is bad but I can't get him yet. 5:37 I didn't realize he is that tall, it's crazy to think he acts like a child sometimes.
isnt ororon only able to enter nightsoul blessing state/consume nightsoul once another party member other than himself triggers ec? So that implies he would be off field and unable to trigger codex? But ec ownshership is kinda jank as well
use skill with him on field to trigger EC :D then he’ll get the CR buff its still his BIS even if you can only sometimes get the CR since its so much, but you should be fine if you just use his skill every so often

I pulled for Chasca and his c6! He is really strong and this guide is really useful. I built him with cinder city and use him as a support for my Chasca but I was wondering if I should change the weapon because I am actually using the stringless on him..?
Stringless is not the best option, since a lot of his damage comes from his A1 passive which Stringless doesn't buff at all. Ororon scales with ATK, so either use an ATK/CRIT bow for more damage or go with a support bow, such as Favonius or Elegy. Though, with C6 Ororon, you probably don't need the Favonius particles at all.

I tried r5 Stillness on him but a r5 Stringless gave him better numbers. 😕 even with healing for stillness. I’m so confused lol he’s lvl 90, c2 played with furina, chasca and Baizhu ( or Bennett). I thought the EM was causing better numbers but his kit don’t really run on that.

It's probably not optimal but I like using him in a hyperbloom team with Kinich,Yelan and Kirara, it also doubles as the ultimate exploration team.

0:30 Obsidian codex provides buffs only if the character using it is on field. So please, don't farm Obsidian for him and just stick to 4pc scroll
use his skill on field to proc EC, problem solved

Why I don't see anyone recommend stringless 🤔?

His dmg count as passive dmg you run stringless but not worth it
Ororon is an underrated sub dps for Chasca because his taunt can stop enemies from sitting under her lmao 😂

No, it doesn‘t stack, so you should better use one of the other mentioned sets for Ororon
