this season our lockerroom had a bin we call warranty shippouts every other week there was atleast 3 project x's in the bin geting ready for warranty exchange after snaping stick had some major duribility flays but otherewise they feel nice lol
My son played 4 games and a couple of practices before breaking a Proto R. He said the stick felt great. But, for the price the sticks are too fragile. I've heard the same thing about all the premium sticks regardless of brand. All of those sticks are over $300 US for intermdediate size. Ridiculous
AliExpress have them at about a third of the price. They feel as good as the original but is also just as fragile. I'm the owner of one of the shops on AE that sells Proto-R but I wouldn't recommend Proto either.
If that’s the same Proto R you’ve been using it has to be at least a few months old. Obviously it’s going to start to break down, I’m shocked you haven’t broken it yet if you’ve used it in actual games. Fair playing field would be to have three new sticks.
FT Ghost blade is crap, i've already got 3 more FT6 pro for the future, because ft7 blade will be same, as Ghost. Please CCM, jetspeed line MUST have stiff blades!!! I hope - this is not a try to discontinue a tacks-line, bringing together Jetspeed and tacks (soft blade) stick parameters. This will ruin the jetspeed
Agree, I mean the blade feel is nice, but if I don't hold back on the slapshots and onetimers, they last an average of 5 days for me. You can get used to a stiff blade, but will never get used to spending 220 euros per 5 days, though 2/3 sticks go to warranty so more like 8 days per stick. ft6 pro blade is honestly not much better than as6pro and trigger 8 pro. I prefer the as6pro even if it technically has a softer blade, I've had 3 ft6 pros and they have lasted just the same as the as6pros. For me as6pro has alot more pop and power than ft6pro. I cut a blade off of an ft6pro and I weighed it and it weighs 75grams, and literally feels like a paper sheet, how light it is, no surprise that they don't last. I don't know why hockey tutorial guy said in a recent video is that the top manufacturers really cut on the weight of the shaft and not the blade when it's clearly the opposite.
bruh what r u talking about the ft7 pro is the best stick ive ever used and ive had other sticks like the proto and trigger 8 pro. the ft7 pro is better than all of them in every way
