A lot of it has to do with how he never has anything bad to say about anyone, gives credit to everyone involved, genuinely enjoys his career, and never makes fans feel like he hated doing roles. Wish he'd go up to size 42 again. That was a very hot and steamy version of Benedict for Star Trek. So was Parade's End, when he became blonde. He also put on weight for that role, but he was less muscular. It was how Chris Tietjens was in the book itself, actually. Benedict was an excellent Richard III! Wow! So villainous. He's a natural.
