- Hey guys! I’m Alexandra and I film makeover videos to show you how to achieve a stylish, cozy home on a budget - even if you rent.
Today we’ve got a super fun makeover coming at you! I’m in Dani Berger’s bedroom today - you may remember her from our super fun series Buy or DIY and we’ve teamed up to makeover her bedroom. I LOVE that accent wall. I am SO gonna do that with a dark gray in my room, so It looks like trees kinda in the mountains. And I'm gonna contrast it with white on the other walls.

You girls did such an amazing job on the bedroom. I like the way it came together so well. You make it look so easy installing the lights. This reminds me years ago I saw a beautiful bag that I loved with a mother holding her baby. I cut it out and placed it in a frame and hung it in my room. Thanks for the inspiration
Thanks so much for posting your full source list... I feel like I'm constantly scouring for good deals on materials, but I had NO idea you could find a set of brass-looking knobs for $15 US. What a crazy find! And I've spent all week trying to find a simple, inexpensive modern replacement for a boob light, and the one you found is a solid $30 (USD) cheaper than anything I'd found, and much cuter. This whole makeover is fantastic! I especially love the look of that whispy accent wall. That's such a simple idea but it adds way more interest than a full paint job, and you don't have edge the ceiling. Great job!
...and I haven't left my bedroom since!

Hello. Can you turn the music off during speaking parts...? 12 minutes of the 30 second clip repeated over and over again made me fast forward through some parts.
Now that TH-cam let’s you watch videos with 1.5 times /2x playspeed, I find myself gravitating toward videos that only have music in certain parts of its videos. Good content otherwise. Thanks!!!!

I downsized since my kids are in their 30s and I’m divorced. I’m living in a smaller space, which was a restaurant that I’m turning into a home. I have no closets and most of the spaces are wide-open. My bedroom doesn’t even have a door. I love your ideas for space-saving storage that is budget-friendly, creative and beautiful. Your furniture selections are fantastic and affordable. I’ve been watching your videos non-stop for a couple weeks. I’ve been working on this reno for years, and I was about to give up on it due to contractor issues and lots of other costly complications related to the reno that I won’t get into here. You’ve re-sparked my creative drive, and my head - and heart - are remembering why I wanted to do this in the first place. Thank you for inspiring me to keep going. I love your designs.

I know designers generally like to add a few things that are different in style and introduce an element of surprise, but all too often they just seem childish and jarring. In an otherwise whimsical room, pompom your little heart out, but they seem woefully out of place in *this* room.

The rug is too similar to the floor. It does not add anything to the room. Darker edge with a light interior on the rug would have made a huge impression.
I agree. It needed some color or a pattern. Also the duvet cover is still white. Not much change.

The floating side tables are so simple and awesome. you guys did an amazing job!

Perfect inspiration for my hubby and I. We have the smallest bedroom in the house we bought (gave the girls the big one). That accent wall will look so great with our hand dyed galaxy spread. And I LOVE those side tables.

I love these DIYs but I miss the editing style of the Home Primp videos where there was less talking and the focus was on the makeover itself.
I just get real tired of all the giggly giddiness that is more appropriate for a junior high school girls' sleep-over or a college dorm's Friday night beer bash . I'd *much* rather see more of the DIY aspects than the gabbing. As much as I enjoy these videos and how-to tips, please, please, please spend some time with a thesaurus learning some new adjectives to replace amazing and epic. Maybe wonderful, incredible, fantastic, clean, sleek, homey, and comfy,

Hey! This video was wonderful & had lots of amazing tips! An easier way to figure out the layout of a gallery wall that small is to clear a big space on the floor & figure out the layout there! Then you can stand over it (sometimes I’ll even step onto a chair to get a better, cohesive view) and still see the finished product all together. 💕 Love these videos!

I'm an epileptic and often take turns on wakening so side tables can be my enemy. But I need storage. I've nearly lost my eye on the corner of my bedside locker. ***TJMaxx & Marshalls in NY has those laundry baskets for $16-$19 in different colors and styles. Just bought a couple last weekend to renovate my home- best purchase for a Laundry basket.
