- This is the April Update from St. Michael’s Hill. In this episode, I give a brief update of St. Michael’s Hill, I look at some new stock that I’ve picked up this month, give you a tour of the place where the new layout will be and also talk a little bit about the plans for that layout.
I also have started a new shoutout section at the end of my videos.

Congrats on getting the move done! So much to deal with, let alone a new layout. Great video, but take your time and don't feel pressed to entertain us with a video. I am looking forward to see how you get set up. One piece of advice which you have already mentioned- really plan your storage. My train table/layout underwent lots of re-design to accommodate not only current, but future storage needs. Shelves and storage cabinets/cases, above and below now will really help down the road.
Yeah - it's a lot to deal with, but I've been in always six weeks now so a lot of the work has been done! But it's going to be a very long term project, so the progress on the layout won't be massively quick. But I will be modelling other things and the videos will hopefully continue! I very much agree about the storage and the baseboards. I will take the most time getting this right. I'm lucky that I have a loft and a shed so I can have some other storage, but will make sure this works for all my life, not just my modelling life! Thanks for the advice and the continued support Anthony.

Nice ideas! I’ve also used RailModeller Pro and really like it! Great piece of software!

Great update video I look forward to seeing your next video. What size print out is in the paper it looks like n scale and not ho scale, what the name of the software you using. Congrats on how many subs you have. I'm going to share it to my new Facebook group called train's across the world my goal is to bring everyone together in this world to share the love of this hobby in one place feel free to stop by and check out the group and join us. My software is anyrail and when I print off paper is set to 1:1 for my ho scale layout

Hi there! The new layout will be 00, it's a little confusing the way the print out looks at 9:09 shows 4 tracks. The first two lines are the length of the sleepers from the end to the rail, the next lines are the distance between the rails and then the sleepers on the other side. If that makes sense? That would be great - I'll look for the group now!
